signguy2108 Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Good looking ride clayton! I had a truck on a dedicated wood chip haul, about a 100 mi. round trip. Company I was leased to wanted us to haul chips from monticello to bogaloosa la. one yr. It was an 11 hr. round trip, 2 lane road, had to cross 4 permanent scales, lumber yard foreman said we could make 2 loads a day! ! stayed local and did my regular 5 load a day thing!
Jim B Posted September 11, 2016 Posted September 11, 2016 Saw this one yesterday at Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards in Lafayette, NY. It has a 1949 Oregon license plate on it, but it doesn't look like a 1949 Ford to me (but that do I know).
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 (edited) I saw these at a truck show Saturday! The last one is my youngest son sitting in the driver seat of the Rubber Duck. Edited September 13, 2016 by DRIPTROIT 71
Petetrucker07 Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 Now this is cool. I'd love to see these trucks in person someday.
Conway1979 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 (edited) I saw these during the Woodward run up in Pontiac MI last month. Kinda cool to see them in person. Be cool to have a model of this Western Star, maybe in the future. Edited September 13, 2016 by Conway1979 addition
10thumbs Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Brian, great pic of your son! Looks like he's thinking.....hmmm, I think it would be cool to just turn the key.....Great pics guys!
Petetrucker07 Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 Saw these 2 last week on my to Vegas. I was loaded (80000 lbs) climbin a hill, they were light or empty. Took a couple pics of some new trucks at Peterbilt on Monday last week. The mint green and yellow trucks are sister trucks. The VINs are in sequence. They both have 500 horse Cummins with 18 speeds. The cream and brown truck has a 500 Cummins and a 13 speed with air ride Reyco and no axle blocks on the steer. I sat in the yellow truck. It is a really nice truck. Comfy leather seats and a HOOD!
Mike77 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 Not technically big rigs but these were at a huge car show I was at in downtown Springfield, Illinois today...

Goose1957 Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 I pass by this lot every day on my way to and from work. Not sure of the name of the company as I never see a sign, but they must specialize in unusual cars and trucks. The first pics have some cool classics on. The next ones have a special load that must have come out of Texas (Texas plates on the Mustang). Jeff

Force Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 Here are some from me from my USA and L.A. trip last October. We passed this Pete uphill going north on I-15 before Cajon Junction. Somewhere on Hwy-91 East. Hwy-58 going west just outide Bakersfield CA. This is taken at Tejon Pass on I-5, we're going south. Uphill at Cajun Pass on I-15 north. Same place. We met this Lonestar on I-15 just before Hesperia CA.
