Superpeterbilt Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Very cool build. Im diggin the engine mods. Keep up the good work
exesivefire Posted December 31, 2014 Author Posted December 31, 2014 Playing with intake ideas.. Nothing here is final. I need to get the engine mounted. And separate the injector bases a bit, but this is more of a proof of concept type thing for now.
jdean Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 looking really cool, that is way above my skill level .
exesivefire Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) More playing with intakes... Can't make up my mind. Edited January 2, 2015 by exesivefire
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Don't think the 3 look right. Like the first layout of 6 stacks.
Cool Hand Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 (edited) It's great watching your wips, as you are always scratch building cool trick parts. This build is going to be a killa when complete. I like the triple twins that angle upwards. I got to ask what happened/any updates with the Camaro Lowrider you were building.?? Edited January 2, 2015 by Cool Hand

Thanks I appreciate it. Camaro is around, just stalled for now. Edited January 2, 2015 by exesivefire
exesivefire Posted January 2, 2015 Author Posted January 2, 2015 Thank tou guys.. Thinking I'm going with the 6 individual throttle bodies. I'll either tilt the motor or run a slanted intake on them to clear the tube in front. I'll probably start on the hood/fender area first though
Nate Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Definitely has a Factory Five feel to it. Looks great so far!
misterNNL Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 A very nice build. The engine mods look to be right on the money as well.Toning down the wheel shine was a great idea as it helps focus the eye on the rest of the build instead of those shiny wheels. Thanks for sharing!
exesivefire Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 Thanks guys.. I might do the wheels satin and gloss black yet. We shal see.. Got the trans mount made today. Next I'll focus on the motor mounts.
Jurva Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Awesome job with the engine. I would use a setup with six intakes. Angled might be needed for real estate.
exesivefire Posted January 11, 2015 Author Posted January 11, 2015 got the engine mounted today, seems the smallest things take the most time. I must have messed with this for hours today, in the end I'm happy with the result though. I also propped the back up a bit more, think I am ready to start on the rear now.
Jantrix Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 I gotta say. This build makes me smile. Very well done.
misterNNL Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Great work on those motor mounts!I really like extra attention those ventilated gussetts add.
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Love the engine mounts. Although the little details take time it really makes a big difference in the finished model.
