It's been a long time since I've finished a model. This has been about a year in the works. I usually have grand plans of a full show build wired and plumbed and it always winds up in a box because I screw something up. To build up some confidence, I decided to go ahead with a couple box stock builds. This is the Nova I just finished, minus the hood and a couple other random parts.

Thanks guys! The color is gold. It made it pretty difficult to apply the BMF!

That was my guess but I thought it could have been one of those "gold green" colors so popular in the late 60s & early 70s. Steve

Very nice. I would have left the wheels chrome with paint detailing.

Very nice looking!

Love the paint job.

I'm having the same mentality, I keep starting builds but something goes wrong and I box it back up and start working on another project...

I'm almost complete with my first model in years and yes it does build your confidence back up!

Thanks again for the replies everyone! It really is a confidence booster. I'm moving on to a 71 duster now. I'll start a WIP for that.

I must commend you on building something I have never been able to do...box stock...I always end up deviating. Very nice job!
