Ajay Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 (edited) Hi all This ones a bit of a change from the 50's stuff that I've been building this year. It's the Tamiya Eggenberger RS500 kit together with the interior from the Sierra XR-4i. Pretty much OOB except for lowered suspension & BBS wheels. Colour is Ford Diamond white from Zero paints. Sorry for the indoor pics Thanks for looking Regards Andy Edited December 19, 2014 by Ajay
afx Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Wheels are nice. I built the Texaco Eggenberger car a few years ago. I have the XR4Ti in the stash. Both great Tamiya kits.
captjeffro26 Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 That is really nice. I was thinking about doing the same thing. Yours came out really clean. Great build!
TimKustom Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 I love this so much. Nice build and I prefer indoor shots!
peekay Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Very nice! (And I agree with Tim - nothing wrong with indoor shots.)
Dragline Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 For 17 years I worked in a European auto shop. People would bring these in for me to work on. I'd tell them "I don't work on Ford cars". They'd get all bent outta shape and leave. Reason being is I worked on a friends XR4Ti and that thing was a PITA. He didn't like changing oil and the turbo went up. Then the electrics went all wonky. I told him to bring it to someone else less our friendship be strained. But I'll say this. That model is really fetching. And I did get to drive it when I initially fixed [read replaced with a rebuilt] turbo. That car was darned quick and comfy to boot. Bob
Tonioseven Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Looks great to me!! Good to see you building, Andy!!
