crazyjim Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 A while back I removed 1 1/2" from a Ford van to make a shorty. This time I took that material, added another rear axle, opened the rear door, and reshaped the side glass. It's covered in HOK limetime pearl with HOK sherwood accents. The inside has benches and diamond plate so people have room and comfort to change into swimwear and haul SCUBA tanks and skis. Oh yeah - I built the Hot Rod Hydro to match.
JTalmage Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Love the Van! needs some blackwash in the wheels in my opinion though but looks killer otherwise!
crazyjim Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 Thanks Jesse. I was toying with the idea of a green wash on the wheels.
kilrathy10 Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Nice work....I like the rear flip up style door.....Just wave my foot under the bumper and up she goes, right?? And the Hydro looks fantastic, as well....
thatz4u Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Jim, you keep one upping yourself, fantastic Ford van...
JTalmage Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I totally would do the green. I was thinking black for depth but green just goes with the custom theme!
Cliff Dagger Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 (edited) That's awesome. I'm going to steal that idea If you get a Preiser "Eve" figure kit , to go with it , there won't be a need to change into swimwear . Edited December 25, 2014 by Cliff Dagger
unclescott58 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Very nice. I especially like the way you did the the side windows behind the front doors. But, everything else looks good too. Nice job. Scott
Ridgeback Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Great skills. The paint job is amazing and is a killer combo with the boat and trailer.
RAMBENNA Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I love Vans and you did this one right , great job really cool
