Instead of a new section I propose the following. When the new threads are added add a tag say 2014 review and some thing like build for single builds. Then pin a thread with that tag included and a title like 2014 build reviews. Same thing for the single builds. Then there would be a way to get a sorted list. No need for any new sections and a feature that already exists can be used. Just a thought.

While a tag would allow us to sort for the reviews the issue Duntov points out is that the large numbers of 2014 reviews had the effect of driving Under Glass threads started in the final days of 2014 many pages back. I'm not sure how tags would avoid this issue.

I think it's a lot of hub-bub about nothing. Scott from Minnesota is the only one so far that I've seen on this thread that didn't have an interest in looking at these posts, & yet he had the perfect solution.....Don't look at them! As far as a post being buried, are our egos that fragile that if we don't receive the "appropriate" number of responses to a post we fall into depression or something? Anyone who cares to go back & find these "lost posts" will do so, & as we all know, it only takes one to bring back a post from 4 years ago! :) It'll all blow over in very short order. I don't see the problem. Steve

Agreed. I thoroughly enjoy(ed) the impromptu 'cruise.' A lot of awesome built models on display at the click of a mouse! Where else?

As the guy who started the whole thing this year I'm sorry if it didn't please everyone.

I personally enjoyed the lot and I think many more models got unburied this way than got buried.

I don't think a seperate section would make sense as it would lie fallow for the rest of the year.

Perhaps, as someone suggested, it would be best to hold back a new model till the new year when traffic returns to normal.

I agree

I totally enjoyed all the posts this round! All the new builds are easy to find if you just look at "new content" on a regular basis. All the "off topic lounge" and "general" posts usually clog the forum, which I don't mind either, just saying. Still the greatest forum on the planet imho.

Clicking the tag would omly show the items with that tag. If there was a review tag then only the review tagged items would show.

I have enjoyed all of the year in review, great builds to see again and for some the first time. I have tried also to respond to as many as I can, and always enjoy the responses received.

Perhaps a new "Harsh, Contentious, Condemning and Confrontational Comments" thread is in order!

I totally think no one should post end of year threads. totally.

There is a forum called Britmodeller , and they have a section called Yearbooks, and in that section is a thread for the year to post all of your completed builds.

I understand that has zero to do with this forum, but it is good idea
