Ridge Rider Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 2011- I will provide 2 pics of the same movie because they aren't iconic vehicles but they did have decent screen time.
Petetrucker07 Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 (edited) Here's 1. The blue chevy nova.... Beverly Hills Cop Edited January 31, 2015 by Petetrucker07
Joe Handley Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 The Yellow Ford that's losing it's bumper, "the Big Labowski".
slusher Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 (edited) Everyone is correct responding to my posts, AAA+. I'm probably having as much fun finding these pictures as guessing them, so until this runs its course, well I'm in. So back to the 80s. And the 70s with another Caddy The Bad News Bears Edited January 31, 2015 by slusher
Ridge Rider Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Well that didn't take too long, Your right Clayton and Carl. Try this 90s comedy. Is that a model?
Joe Handley Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Well that didn't take too long, Your right Clayton and Carl. Try this 90s comedy. Is that a model? Groundhog Day?
Joe Handley Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 48 Hours? Nope, might ask the women in your lives if you guys are having a tough time with it......it's a bit of a chick flick.
Ridge Rider Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Correct, doesn't the falling shot look like a model. Blacked out windows, suspension still looks loaded? A late 80s
Joe Handley Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 It kinda does, kinda surprised they didn't just launch a real one though, those were still just old trucks at the time.
Scale-Master Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 I said I'd be posting some more of my collection of TV and movie Corvairs, so here's #2. This was used in a very popular movie when it was released. Some consider it to have been the lead actor's best performance. Mr. Holland's Opus
Scale-Master Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 2011- I will provide 2 pics of the same movie because they aren't iconic vehicles but they did have decent screen time. Paul
rmvw guy Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 " Driving Miss Daisey " Got it! I had given up on anyone getting this one. I thought it was over looked!
1972coronet Posted January 31, 2015 Posted January 31, 2015 Here's a fairly esoteric film vehicle for your guessing pleasures ...
CorvairJim Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Mr. Holland's Opus Too easy? One of the greatest films of the era. How about this one? This pickup still exists in this form - Last I knew, it's owned by a member of my local Corvair club, although he hasn't had it out in a few years. This was one of the main vehicles of what was a fairly popular, but now largely forgotten film:
slusher Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Here's an oldie from 1950s steve The Green Helmet
Ridge Rider Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Correct, doesn't the falling shot look like a model. Blacked out windows, suspension still looks loaded? A late 80s There's not too many clear images of this one without the actors being clearly recognizable.
Ridge Rider Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Not the star car but may be a recognizable scene.
CorvairJim Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Blue Rampside: My Girl 2? Well, that was quick! I thought it was more obscure. How about this Corvair featured in a somewhat more recent film:
CorvairJim Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Not the star car but may be a recognizable scene. That's from the opening title sequence of the classic "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang", one of the all-time great kids car films! Too bad it had almost nothing in common with the Ian Fleming kid's novel that I greatly enjoyed back in 4th grade!
