Bluemiles22 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I was finally able to get this one finished. Been away from building for awhile and this one was sitting around collecting dust. Thanks for looking, enjoy!
Nitrozilla Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Dick always showed up with beautiful equipment. You did it justice.
vintagercr Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Rich, I'm glad you finished it as it looks really nice!
Speedfreak Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Nice job Rich, looks 'very' good. Looks pretty close to 1:1 in shot #4.
Daddyfink Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Nice! So, tell us about the scoop, how did you make it? Because that is cool!
rv1963 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I just love this build, great decals and engine details, the clear scoop is awesome.
gtx6970 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Really nice,,, where did you get the hood scoop,,I want one
High octane Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 While I'm not a "bowtie man," that Camaro looks awesome. Dick Harrell used to have Nickey Chevrolet of Chicago as one of his major sponsors and I only lived a couple miles from the dealership when I was young. Therefore I got to see his race car in the shop as well as a lot of "high performance" Chevrolets as well.
Intmd8r Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Excellent job - that hood must have been a challenge to pull off, but you did it.
Bluemiles22 Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 Thank you for the kind compliments guys! The scoop was mad from some clear acetate, I just scribed it with an xacto knife and folded along the lines, it was definitely a PITA lol, took about four tries to get it looking close
