Modelmikey Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Nice clean build, the duster has always been a favorite Mopar of mine.
wayne swayze Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 My first thought.... what a clean "sleeper"!
slusher Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Very sharp model. Love the color, wheels and sleeper look. Awesome work...
Belugawrx Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Hey Jeff Nice work on the Duster! Nice and clean Takes me right back to summer of '78 my buddy drove his brother's 'Hang10' Duster to summer school... we weren't there too much Thnx for the trip Cheers
tubbs Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 (edited) nice build, love the plain brown wrapper look. delete of all striped and blacked out hood. motor looks really good. where did you get the vented caps? don't tell me you drilled all those little holes. nobody has that much patents.again, nice build.MOPAR TO YA!! johnbuzzed Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Very, very nice. If that second picture was angled up just a bit, on a different surface, it could pass for the real thing. Really nice.
robs4516 Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Really nice build, I really like the engine compartment.
thatz4u Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 nice work, I'll have to build mine one of these days
madhorseman Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 This a really cool build, I owned one with a 2bbl 318. Brings back some fond memories. nice!
sak Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 nice build, love the plain brown wrapper look. delete of all striped and blacked out hood. motor looks really good. where did you get the vented caps? don't tell me you drilled all those little holes. nobody has that much patents. again, nice build. MOPAR TO YA!! Thanks for the kind remarks. Yes those holes are drilled. Not evenly spaced or perfect circle but best I could do
Robberbaron Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Good color for a sleeper, also like the cop wheels (very nice job on those caps). What was your source for the baseline (non-340 sharktooth) grille?
sak Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 http://www.hartspartsresin.com/resin-parts-list/conversions Thanks. Was ok but had some air bubbles and sloppyness where the slats meet the surround so I had to glue some thin rod to that edge..to hide it and act as threshhold Good color for a sleeper, also like the cop wheels (very nice job on those caps). What was your source for the baseline (non-340 sharktooth) grille?
sak Posted January 30, 2015 Author Posted January 30, 2015 What color is that? Looks great Thanks . "Bronze" by Modelmaster
