PatW Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 This was a Christmas gift from my son Matt, so I thought it has to be one of the first builds of 2015............ Right now I must get on with my 'New' Mini roof chop!
yellowtruck99 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Very nice, I've always loved that Ferrari
fitforbattle Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 The wheels for me made it a bit much, with the yellow calipers, but otherwise a fantastic model and color combo. The red interior sets it of.
peekay Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Very slick and clean build and a slightly different colour scheme.
tmathew1us Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Beautiful! nice job on the wheels. You have good hood fitment, which can be tricky on this Revell model.
slusher Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Great looking model Pat. Love the yellow and red interior. Fantastic work...
PatW Posted February 10, 2015 Author Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) I live near the Silverstone race circuit in the UK and they have a few classic and later Ferrari models turning up at various meetings and most are in red, so I have always fancied a yellow one. Yes the bonnet takes a bit of getting to close, but when you try and fit the wipers afterwards it's even worse, bending them this way and that to lay on the screen and shut the bonnet at the same time (one day) Thanks for the comments they are well appreciated. Yes beeRS it's one of the latest kits from Revell Germany. Edited February 10, 2015 by PatW
LMDAVE Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 (edited) Excellent Job! Love the color combo also. Edited February 10, 2015 by LMDAVE
ferrari87 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Man that looks good. It looks like a die cast!
PatW Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 Thanks Justin on how it looks. I personally don't use the word diecast. Because they are too heavy, too expensive and are already finished.
