Nothing riske or sexy

I am fighting my rubber tubing that comes in kits as they are wound or tied up and come out all weird and curved when I unwind them

Tried some friction to get them to straighten, meh. Worried I will melt shrink them if I heat them

Anyone got a super simple way to get a nice straight tube?

Example: See the curved grey tube on the F40 engine wip

How about finding a copper wire that will fit fairly tight within the tube? Then you should be able to bend or straighten to whatever shape you need.

eheh was typing as afx's suggestion came up. ))

Now we are rolling

I will try that wire/solder trick on the tubes that I have already glued and use the hanging weight trick on the ones not yet attached

Funny how the simple solution is always right in front of you

Thanks Guys!!

Here's something I came up with. I used it to thread the tubing between the nails to get the shape I wanted and used a hair dryer to get it to keep it's shape.
