Further with part 2. The Engine is nearly ready. Some Pipes and lines Comes on place if the engine is placed in the Chassis....I polished the engine pattern from Hand with my Little, but nice, Proxxon Multi tool. MANY WORK, but it looks very great to me.

Spectacular, of course. Pocher builders get totally involved in the mechanical aspects of the kits. All well and good, and totally awe-inspiring. Most of the rest of us are interested in what the model will look like at the finish -- the body, the interior, etc. What color scheme do you have in mind?

Thanx.

The Problem is: I start this build in a german Forum. There i write many to all what i have done. All Cables, the spark plugs, etc. was transkit parts and not from the Pocher kit. I will try from this Point in real-time to write. I work a Little bit on the Chassis. Also the Tyres are redy for Fixing. They got some plottered Decals for the blue Ornament rings. The interior gets real fine Lether in beige. Now any more fast-track:

my personal fav Color scheme is very classic. blue and black,Interieur with beige leather, burl Wood Panels.....an some many other "BlingBling"

And yes, the Pochers are very nice and .....BIG! But some mechanical thinks, like functioning brake drums, are not feasible. There aro so many Diversion on the Chassis. if i like to tip the pedal for a break, maybe it brokes. I dont like to test it.....If i would it functioning i musst it built in metal, like bronze. thats to many wall up. The finish car stands in a Vitrine like the Aventador one. No touching, no playing, only looking.....

Thanx for your interesst.

Alex

Awesome build, thanks for coming here and sharing

That is a very rare and expensive kit to have, you are very fortunate. Not many Pocher Bugatti kits out there; I am a big Bugatti fan, especially the Type 35 open race cars

I have two Pocher Alfa Romeo's to build K71 and K73, just have not started them yet

Have a look at the "Big Boys forum" on here it is in the Other Models section when you scroll little farther down on the forum list

Beautiful work Alex.

Is that burl wood what we call 'contact paper' - on the instrument panel?

It's an adhesive backed printed paper.

Hey Alex

I just wanted to let you know, that alot of us enjoy watching Pocher builds from start to finish,...

the detail that can be brought down to 1:12,..1:16,...1:20,...1:25/24,... so much to see at this scale.

That yellow/black insulated wire you are using for spark,..where did you harvest that?

Looking great

Cheers

Good morning everybody.

Thanx for the positive Feedback! This wooden Foil is self adhesive, yes. Its from a german manufacturer and it calls DC-Fix. The only, it is a Little thick. But with a hairdryer is work with it no Problem. If the Dashboard is ready with the foil, i will put 3-5 templates glossy clear for a homogene Surface and a real looking shine. The same i will do with the door Panels. I hope it Looks on the end so, how i imagine it.

The yellow/black wire is a gift from a good friend of mine. He is so like Yoda, and im the Young Skywalker.....this wire is here in Germany very hard to become. The manufacturer who made this is no more available.

And sorry, im not see that there is a extra site for the "BIG BOYS"...... Maybe a Admin can this move to the right place, please???

Here we go.

The Dashboard gets the burl wooden finish. Glossy clear is over all. What do you think about?

Yes of corse. Thanx for this Point. The foil and the gloss, the gloss is from good old Tamyia, had no trouble together. I polish it a little bit and ready. Usually im also test it before i work with this componends.

Welcome to the board Alex,

as I said:" You can run, and you can hide, but I'll get you." Pretty good job, so far. By the way...MMC's spark plug wire isn't cloth coated. Just Vinyl. But the source of the yellow and black cloth-coated wire has dried out. I am still biting my nails, having overhanded all of my wire for free to buddies.. Maybe there is a willing soul to know about a new dealer.

Cheers

Alex, is this a new kit, partially assembled or have you taken an old completed car apart??

Are there other transkit companies in Europe we North Americans might not know about?

I am full of questions :)

It is such a beautiful car, you are doing very well so far

Good morning other side of world.

The Buggati i have was like a virgin. Only the engin was built and some parts from the Dashboard. Thats it. Nothing more. Im a lucky guy than usualy the Bugatti is very, very expensive (In german ebay for 2500,- Euro!!! CRAZY WORLD!), but i got him very cheap for best conditions ;-) The only Company i know is in Germany Tremonia who made own transkits. And they have only the cylinder-covers and a mesh for the grill as eatched parts. Modell Motor Cars is known.

Michel j. Habich......well i see we are like Stalkers ;-) Nice to see you here my friend!

Good news for me:

My real lether has arrived. Nice, nice. lovley thin shape. Now i can begin the "Pull Over" from the Seats....I build my modells not in alphabetical order. I build what bring for me some pleasure.

I will try to answer any question you have. No Problem. But im by my self no Profi. Got many things to learn.

Regards from Bavaria, Alex
