I finished this one up last week, my second completion of 2015. It's the Revell Streetburner release, a pretty basic kit but builds into a good looking shelfer. It's not my best build, but I'm happy with it. I'm not a big fan of t-tops on these Camaro's (but I do like them on the Firebirds, don't ask me why I don't know lol ) so I broke out the spot putty and got to work filling in the seams. Colors are Model Master Nassau Blue Met. with Duplicolor Light Blue Metallic for the interior. Tire lettering is Fireball Modelworks decals, and I used some aluminum tubing for the exhaust tips. I just realized I forgot to get some silver paint onto the lugnuts, so I'll address that tonight. Thanks for looking and any comments good or bad.

Super clean build! Nice work!

I had one very similar that I just sold a few years back. I never got around to putting the Z/28 decals and trim on it. It was a gas hog!!

Dated this chick Pam Babineau in the 80's She was soooooo smokin and had this very car in that very color.

Good fun cruising the Ave with a HOT chick in a sweet ride.

OH! That build is killer BTW.

Lost track......

Very nice. My cousin has an 81z in the light met blue/ blue stripes/ blue interior. He bought it new. It's a no option car. No Ts no console no nothing. It's a 4 speed car. He has had a few big blocks in it but now it's a chalk mark resto car that sits in the garage lol

Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate it. It's been cool to read the stories about your real world experiences with these Camaros, thanks for sharing them. When I was a kid one of the neighbors had one in blue too, I loved it. I'd have to say it was one of the first cars that started to turn me into a gearhead.
