Four dashboards first: 1/24 Monogram '69 GTO The Judge? ? MPC '69 Plymouth Barracuda? MPC '70-'78 Pontiac Firebird? Three center consoles: ? JO-HAN AMC '64 & '65 Rambler AMT '6? Impala??? Second dash might be MPC Vega. The consoles: #2 is Jo-Han 1964, 1965, and 1966 Rambler Americans. It was also in the USA Oldies reissue of the '66 Marlin. Beautiful engraving on this part. #3, the 4-speed unit, is from the Jo-Han '66 Marlin annual kit. #1 looks familiar, but I'm not sure. I'd check the xXx version of the MPC/AMT '67 GTO kit. It had a different topper for the console base that's molded into the floor, and memory says the shifter location was offset like that. There's at least one reissue from those crazy RC2 days that has the "regular" version build of the '67 GTO on the box but the xXx parts inside.

Appears to be 1/25 scale, for a smaller car, but I am fairly confident I have ruled out the MPC Pontiac Fiero 4-cylinder, AMT VW Scirocco, MPC Dodge Daytona, and MPC Chevy Cavalier kits...maybe Revell Ford Escort? Hmmm. It "looks" AMT or MPC to me. I can rule out MPC Dodge Omni O24/etc and Ford EXP, along with AMT Plymouth Horizon TC3. Have a built Revell Ford EXP, and it should be the same as the Revell Escort. That one appears to be very different than this. Can also rule out Revell VW Golf GTI Mk2 and 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix. Monogram '85 Fiero GT might be a possibility. Color seems wrong, but did you look at a MPC/AMT Chevy Beretta?
Tom Geiger Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 Can anyone ID this clear shot? Two views of same part. Has number 009-0696. Or if it’s upside down 9690-600. I found it in a Hemi Under Glass parts box and it’s obviously not from that kit! Thanks!
VW93 Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 AMT dual axle trailer from the Cal Drag Combo question. Can anyone ID these parts that are on this tree for the trailer? They are not shown in the instructions.
Mark Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Those parts are mounting brackets for side boards that are no longer in the kit. The side boards were only in the 1960 and 1961 Chevy pickup kits, and the mail-order version that was sold in the early Sixties. When the trailer was updated for use in the drag team sets a few years later, the side boards were deleted.

Casey Posted November 27, 2021 Author Posted November 27, 2021 I could use some help identifying this peaked hot rod style fender. Pretty sure it's 1/25 or 1/24 scale, and the plastic looks '60s era white (looks creamier in the pics) to me.
Mark Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 That fender looks like the ones in the Monogram first issue Model A Ford kits.
Mark Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 It does also resemble the rear fenders in early issue AMT '25 Fords. But all of the Sixties issues I'm aware of were molded in black plastic. I'd still lean towards Monogram, especially if the diameter of that fender is really big. The AMT fenders don't fit over their slicks, if I remember right.
Casey Posted November 27, 2021 Author Posted November 27, 2021 I think I found the source-- AMT 1925 T. Screenshot from hpiguy/Chris' video:
Casey Posted December 14, 2021 Author Posted December 14, 2021 (edited) MPC '67-'68 Cougar F/C front bumper/grille?: AMT GMC pickuo or Jimmy front bumper/grille? Promo style mounting tabs on backside are broken off/gone: Edited December 14, 2021 by Casey
Mark Posted December 14, 2021 Posted December 14, 2021 The Cougar bumper/grille does look like MPC. The GMC bumper/grille is from an AMT pickup. The Jimmy has two separate parts, plus clear headlamp lenses.
Casey Posted December 28, 2021 Author Posted December 28, 2021 Can anyone identify the source of this transparent red tail light lens? O.D. measures .290", and it's about .075" thick. There is a small lip around the outer edge, and the concentric rings on the lens' face are slightly raised. Aqua AMT wheel for size comparison:
Mark Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 I'm thinking that taillight lens is from one of AMT's early Sixties T-Bird kits, probably one that had Stylizing parts in it. I've never had a complete kit (I've concentrated on stock versions of those) so I don't have any of the instruction sheets to verify this.
Don Sikora II Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 I'm relatively sure it's from the Revell pro-street C4 Corvette kit #7457. I get about .285 for the OD on my mint parts, so it's probably the same. The Monogram '86/'87 C4 Corvette convertible might have used a similar taillight as well, but my kit isn't handy to look at.

I was thinking '62-'64-ish, but all of the AMT kit tail lights I looked at on instruction sheets that were round seemed to be cone shaped, or at least peaked on some form.
hedotwo Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Anyone recognize this chassis? I know the wheel covers are 67 Galaxie but the chassis isn't.
bisc63 Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 (edited) Possibly early 60s Pontiac, Bonneville or Catalina. Here's a '63 from the web that is VERY close, differing in minor engraving details, so could even be AMT vs, MPC or some such. Definitely has the Poncho style frame rails, making 90 degree-ish turns abruptly at each end of the rocker panels, where most other GM frames curve more gently. You're right it sure does look like a GM chassis. Not sure what it was doing under my 67 Galaxie, although it fit ? Thanks Rusty

Just send it to me, I'll pay the postage! ??
