ScaleModelAddict
Been browsing here looking at all the incredible work. Thought I'd post this. Base kit is the recent Revell 359 Peterbilt. I scratch built the frame, suspension, exhaust. Channeled the body, suicide doors and fabricated bomber seats and visor with cookie tin sheet. Finally I gave her a nasty name as an attempt to push it over the edge, designed the logo and made the decals. Thanks for looking. olsbooks
Incredible work! Notes being taken! What did you use for the "fresh" grease? I'm trying to "grubby up" a fifth wheel on my KW Gold Nugget and have not been able to get the perfect effect you created. Salutes, bows, and praises and all that kind of stuff for a truly impressive job!
Custom Hearse
That is TOTALLY AWESOME!!! That is one of the coolest builds I've ever seen! I have to ask a dumb question though... Is it 1/25th or 1/16th? The weathering is outstanding, you did one heck of a job on that!!!
mnwildpunk
Dirty mean and ugly I love it
ScaleModelAddict
Thank you guys. Its 1/25. The 5th wheel was weathered with AK Interactive pigments and washes. I built up the grime over 5 sessions with drying time inbetween. Appreciate the comments. It was a fun project.

ScaleDale
Hi, Scott. Welcome to MCM. Glad to see you finally finished this thing, and it turned out just awesome. I'm not really a rat rod fan, but this is just over the top. Dale
ScaleModelAddict
Thanks Dale. No worries on the preference; it would be fun to build something like this is more of a hot rod style as opposed to rat rod; maybe someday.
Chillyb1
Wowsie-doodle-dandy, that's just too cool for words. The only thing I'd change is nothing. Like Dale, I'm not really a fan of rat rods or big trucks, but I love builds like this

DPNM
Your concept and execution on this build is fantastic. It's not my thing either but in whatever category it falls into YOU NAILED IT!!! The fifth wheel and surrounding area look real. Excellent weathering. It's awesome Edited January 11, 2014 by DPNM
purepmd
Hi Scott, FANTASTIC weathering. This is, so far the most unique Pete I've seen. I have to admit I don't like rat rods, so I was very biased when I checked your model out, but it is so well done, I can't help but really like it. Awesome job! Mark. BigBad
Looks like a cross between Pissed-Off Pete and Jessy James' Diesel trike! Looks awesome man, I like the whitewalls and all the freakin' details! By the way, I noticed you have Quebec plates in that cab... Nice.
