Thx to all, I’m smoothing things out and prepping for paint. Test fitting glass and bumpers. Not in a hurry…

The wheels are Texas3DCustom painted with Alclad Chrome. Yes it is, and not that difficult to do. Thanks

Been working on this along with the 55. Texas3Dcustoms engine and wheels. Typical mix of paint, Tamiya, Alclad, Krylone and model master. Some parts box tires.

Nice clean Thunder Chicken.

That is well put together Mustang Model there, well done.

I bent some styrene rod to the shape I wanted and then carefully sliced the meeting point. Then I held the two pipes in position and used liquid cement at the connection, a little pressure and they melted together and kind of looks like a weld.

Thank you all. I haven't done a NASCAR in awhile. I had these decals and thought I'd give it a shot. I air brushed some Tamiya bright orange and used a few other colors for detail. That and a few tricks to make the body fit the chassis better and sit just right. It was nice to build something different.
