Going for a customized hot rod like the Pierson brothers 36 coupe.
-
This one will have a Duvall windshield, Halibrand solids, Bugatti seats, Columbia 2 speed rear axle, 4 carb manifold, solid hood sides, rear skirts, and the convertible top area filled and blended. Rumble seat will be converted to a trunk filled with the appropriate hot rod goodies.

Really liking the Deuce with the Duvall windshield! More!

Extraordinary!

Ace, Check it out in the WIP section.

Thanks, all, I will figure out the hood, and maybe smooth out the paint- looks worse in the photos than up close and personal.
-
Gorgeous build!

I'm interested in the AMT 3 in 1 boat kit. First model I ever built, in 1959. PM me if still available, and what you might like in trade.
-
Finally finished! After looking at the photos, I noticed the hood is not sitting quite right. Anyone else have this problem, and is there a fix? Included a comparison shot with a stock 39 I picked up at a flea market. Final touch- pulling a teardrop trailer!

Not dead yet- but I am stripping paint for the second time after a less than successful application of chrome pen.

Looks ready to go to the dry lakes and get top time! Great build! -
You are not alone with having paint issues- I have a 1962 GT Hawk which may have to be stripped after a less than stellar application of chrome pen.

How about another coat of primer, some sanding, and a real coat of blue? This project is too nice to give up on it! Model on!
