  1. Thank you Les! How about the running boards; do they have the same length/width so they could be cut from the Monogram kit and swapped?
  2. Comes a time in every young car modeler's life when Grandma buys him a kit by Palmer.
  3. Watched about 30 seconds of hpiguy's video and sent my order in a few minutes ago:
  4. Wonder if they'll rename it something like "Troll" to avoid those pesky licensing issues, like they did with the '36 Chevy, Pinto and Vega?
  5. Boggle was a favorite game of Peggy Hill.
  6. Enthusiasm is highly recommended if you want to be a cheerleader.
  7. Fool me once shame on you, fool me - you can't get fooled again.
  8. "Vehicle" was the only national hit by Chicago's The Ides of March, although they charted several other times in the local Midwestern markets.
  9. Martinets could also be short martinis, which I could use a couple of after dealing with some of my martinet employers.
  10. Oh d@mn it. I'll miss him big time - he was always a good guy to me. He was also a member of the Warbird Information Exchange (WIX) forum; I'll post there for him.
  11. Hiding in plain sight in Baldwin Park, CA: I'd bet a dollar that this house at Baldwin Park Boulevard and Shadylawn was a gas station once upon a time: Redfin says it was built in 1952 but it looks older. EDIT: Checked Historic Aerials and the 1948 shot shows vacant land, while the 1952 shot seems to show it under construction. Next available is 1964 and it looks residential with trees, so... guess I need a time machine to know for sure.
