YBlock292
Revell realeased this kit in 2013. I decided to build it as a "sleeper" - No fancy 50s style two tone paint, just a simple dark green, no special wheels, just steelies with "poverty caps". Interior: plane Jane, bench seat in front, no radio. BUT: 272 cui Yblock V-8 under the hood with a two barrel set-up, dual exaust and manual transmission with floor mounted shifter. rv1963
A stock build, nice to see that for a change, and so well done.

rmvw guy
It's a true sleeper! Nice presentation.
lordairgtar
Very nice. Reminds me of a small town where kids in the Mennonite community would cruise the main drag in their family car. They bought the most austere version because they shunned chrome. Some even painted the bumpers black, hence the term Black Bumper Mennonites. Locals called this spectacle the Amish 500. espo
Love this model and owned a 1:1 years ago. Nice build, but the 272 looks like it might be a 292 or even a 312. The 2bbl. has turned into a duel quad set up. Now that's a real sleeper.

YBlock292
Thanks to all! Yes, David (espo) You are right: it is a 312 cui YBlock V-8 which was available in 1957 with 275 hp. Shame on me!
