maxwell48098
I guess if I didn't already have around 10 of these kits already I would be more excited. The nice thing is that this kits can be combined with the Modelhaus 1957 and 1958 Ford cabs which drop right on. A.J.
thatz4u
I have one the old kits, I noticed that the Revell 50 F-1 dropped axle is the same width which greatly adds to the wheels that can be used for it..

pharoah
I've only got 2 of these. I saw the part about 'pad prinred tires',and thought-OK,one more.. It could only be cooler if they had used the Wildkat boxart.
unclescott58
Does anybody make a conversion to turn one of these into a Canadian Mercury pickup truck. If they do, I'll need another one. Scott
Ace-Garageguy
I didn't know it was coming back. I have a couple of older issues that have been cherry-picked, so I'll have to be havin' a couple of these.

chunkypeanutbutter
I found that custom grille a while ago in a parts box, and the radio went in my International flatbed. Funny how you find stuff like that. I have a couple of MPC flipnoses I've been looking to build, maybe I'll put that grille on one. unclescott58
Now that would be cool ! An M-100 conversion ... Tailgate and what else ? Tailgate and a hood with correct emblems should do it. The rest is pure Ford. Scott

ChrisBcritter
What is that custom grille? It reminds me of a certain grille but I can't place it It's similar to the Barris-built "Wild Kat" custom that was destroyed in the 1958 shop fire: http://www.kustomrama.com/index.php?title=Wild_Kat
Junkman
That '53 Ford Pickup - the old AMT box art is shown with all those nice custom parts, but then there is a MPC part number for it. Hence I wonder which one will really be reissued, the AMT, or the MPC Flipnose/Tiltbed?

Similar in design to a Chrysler Firepower first gen Hemi, but essentially shares no parts with the Chrysler in 1/1 scale....TIM

I know one Street Rod series kit had the Chrysler FirePower, one had the DeSoto Firedome, and one had the Dodge RedRam, but I forgot which had which. OK, now I know the '53 Ford has the DeSoto. tim boyd
'29 Model A roadster has the RedRam iIRC...don't know which kit had the FB. Yes. the '29 A Roadster (and the Ala Kart/'29A Double Kit that preceded it) has the Dodge Red Ram. The original AMT '32 Ford Roadster kit had/has the Chrysler Firepower Hemi (along with the Double Dragster kit that came along shortly thereafter)....of course may other kits have Chrysler Hemis as well.... Desoto Firedomes can also be found in the Monogram Lil' Coffin and the original MPC Carl Casper Phone Booth T (and the Monster Machine kit derived from it, although it lost the valve cover lettering in that transition).
