Splash paint application ?
James2 replied to Jon Haigwood's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Splash paints website has information if you open the color of choice there is a "Read More" button plus an entire FAQ section. You will need to use a lacquer-based primer such as Tamiya or Splash Paint Primer. This Plum Crazy base coat with 2x clear, my first attempt with their product. -
Took a minute last evening to try the Splash Paints. Very easy to work with, base coat went on smooth and the 2x clear looks wet. Forecast is pretty damp so the rest will have to wait.

Hey Carl, hang in there. Prayers for you and yours.

That is very clean well-built model, I like it!

I love your enthusiasm; the changes are great. Love the paint too!

Thx to all, I’m smoothing things out and prepping for paint. Test fitting glass and bumpers. Not in a hurry…

The wheels are Texas3DCustom painted with Alclad Chrome. Yes it is, and not that difficult to do. Thanks
-
Been working on this along with the 55. Texas3Dcustoms engine and wheels. Typical mix of paint, Tamiya, Alclad, Krylone and model master. Some parts box tires.
