Well , Testors clear top coat will fit the bill . Cut it at a two parts clear to one part cheap laquer thinner ( hardware store variety ) ratio . Continuos mist coat until you have a smooth , glass like finish . Flashout - 2 to 3 days . I've found that Testors semi gloss black works even better as a base coat than the flat .....

Use the Original Dawn Blue , has no additives , will make it squeaky clean and ready for paint . I'd use a toothbrush and warm running water to scrub it down with .....

Once the paint comes off , take a toothbrush and give it a good scrubbing to remove all the residue . Next , you want to scrub it with Original Dawn Blue dish detergent and warm water to remove any brake fluid or paint residue that is left over . Rinse well , and you're ready for paint again .
