  1. My all time favorite? That is not really possible to say, as I have not built them all yet. But so far, my 1/16 Tommy Ivo car. Resin parts, aftermarket decals and a finicky Revell kit. I must admit I am rather proud of this one.
  2. Didn't the Testors Chevy Pick Up have one as well. since it was painted like Eddie Van Halens' real truck.
  3. I would have to say the Slingster, AKA Sizzler, would be high on my list. All new tool of a vintage kit that has been on the want list of so many model builders and has tons of options! How many new kits can claim that?
  4. I did not see a posting on this yet. Sorry if it is a dupe http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/racing/news/20131230/michael-schumacher-skiing-injury-doctors-update.ap/
  5. Just a shame not too many kids today know what he and his family did. Gone to the Great Tune Up Masters in the sky! Vaya con dios!
  6. Just to make it clear. We are talking about store bought model kits and stock die cast cars. Not modified die cast or specialty resin or aftermarket kits. Capice!?
  7. Those wheels look like modified rims out of the Max Rat Chevelle! Look at the "lug nuts" And the hokey graphics also match the funky ones on the Max Rat
  8. Woopie kat makes some for the Kreitz & Greer car with the Swoopy Tail, but, I don't know who might make the Donovan markings.
  9. Models - Require some skill to assemble and provides hours of enjoyment Die Cast - Glorified pull toys that offer instant gratification and turn into instant dust collection systems

  11. Gasser clones ARE the thing and ARE everywhere! And yes, we all have an opinion! Like it, or not! So yes, glad they did not make a gasser clone! LOL!
  12. Outstanding! Very nice work and a great "What if"
  13. Nice! I think you succeeded rather well in your attempt!
  14. Nice builds! And yes, that Datsun 1600 really does catch the eye!
  15. GM killed its soul. Don't they have one in their collection they could have torn up or did they sell it when they almost went bankrupt for selling glorified coffee cup holders? BTW, why don't we have, or make, a sticky for Celebrity type cars? You know, from movies, TV, personalities and such
  16. I believe all his support vehicles/shop cars where red. I have a pic of his Ford Station Wagon at the digs and it is red. Oddly, the Chicken Coupe dragster he raced was blue!
