  1. The Hippie Hemi is the Don Garlits Wynn's Jammer FED minus the body
  2. Crazy Cool!
  3. Very nice build!
  4. I believe he is on Facebook and I can not remember off hand if he does or does not have a site. Last time we talked he was doing quite a bit of resin You can try him via this link http://www.modelermagic.com/?p=56958
  5. It has been covered here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=43942&hl=snake
  6. Did you look at these? http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=83967
  7. My friend Robert Burns made some like that. So that would be my guess.
  8. Impressive. Looks like I might have to get one, or two. Can't wait to hear the whining over this one!
  9. Thanks Chuck! I knew I bought a Flashpoint Camaro for some reason!
  10. I thought that Impala was a later release since I never saw one until after the funny cars. Learn something new everyday! As for the JJ 1/16th car, I bought one when they first came out and then one of the kit vendors at the Hot Rod Reunion had them for $25 bucks. I bought one every time I went up there and ended up with about six of them over the years!! I think I have a couple of the 1/25 JJ Monza Funnies in my stash
  11. Yes, next one is in July
  12. Three totally different kits that do not really need to be compared. They all offer their own unique parts and builds. I would call this a Draw. And I did not vote in the poll
  13. Crazy cool! Nice job!
  14. This is like Crazy Wow!
  15. This is so cool! Can't wait to see the finished product!
  16. They are very nice decals! I have a few of the 1/16th sets and they are very well done. Highly recommend them!
  17. McEwen decals are available from Slixx, but, any Prudhomme stuff is pretty much either Monogram, Revell or underground decal maker stuff. Prudhomme stuff was not easy to license and rarely did anyone get permission without heavy royalty payments and some just got a flat out No, like Slixx did.
  18. I think one of his first was the Revell Jungle Jim Monza in 1/25th scale. It has a totally stock factory box art wiht the only change being the Model King Logo. It was awesome to find on in a hobby shop back then as almost all vintage drag stuff was non-existent. Thanks Dave!
  19. Nice set! I always wanted to do these two and this is great inspiration! Thanks!
  20. Very cool idea and great execution! Nice!!
  21. Wow! That is a show car! Very nice and clean work!
  22. Dave Burkett is the Model King
  23. I would say yes, Casey. Looks like the same style of "Art" they used for their last Drag releases, Mongoose and Jungle Jim. Horrible box "art"! Come on Revell, get it together! Oh, yeah, Mustang
  24. The new nose is a vast improvement over the original. This is a pic of an early re-issue and a resin Malco body mastered by Paul Mendoza. The yellow nose is the original version
