  1. Very nice and clean! Who's wheels and tires?
  2. Nice and I like that color! Who's paint?
  3. Great! Now I want one!!
  4. Some of the parts for the rear wing are pretty fiddly and fragile, other than that, patience is your friend!
  5. I like the 60's car for what it was, a prop in a really campy t.v. show. From the newer more serious efforts, the Tumbler is the best of the lot. The early movie cars are pretty hokey and just too way over the top. Perhaps too much of a nod to the past, in my opinion.
  6. Very cool!
  7. If the new one can really run around like a Tumbler, then it has my vote. We shall see.
  8. Aircraft engines where banned from NHRA Competition in 1963. They ran exhibition until they where deemed to unsafe or where deemed to be taking the thunder away from the fuel cars due to the fact that they ran much faster at certain tracks. Other sanctioning bodies allowed them, AHRA, IHRA and NASCAR, until they too deemed them unsafe for competition, but allowed them for exhibition. Independent tracks allowed them since they where not sanctioned and wanted to put on a show! Have fun!
  9. I painted mine Tamiya Camel Yellow. It has a slight orange tint to it and was the closes match I could find.
  10. that would be a late 50's go job! I think it is from the H.A.M.B. dragster classes Really fun classes!
  11. I know that Revell did the 1/25th bikes under the guise of the movie "Grease 2" and one was a Harley, but I do not remember another Fonz bike.
  12. Hopefully they will start making more figures in 1/24th and 1/25th
  13. Wow! That is one I have never seen! NIce catch
  14. The cool part is that Henry "The Fonz" Winkler autographed it for me at the Roadster Show a few years back! How cool is that!? Aayyyy!
  15. I hated the thought of this thread going away, so, here is another oddity for the books!
  16. Cool! A modern day Chevette!
  17. Very nice job! I have always heard that he decals where horrible, as most Monogram kits of that time had lousy decals, so my friend Skip made some copies of the kit decals with an inkjet printer. But, after seeing what a nice job you did the stripes I am really tempted to try that myself. Again, nice job!
  18. Hey Paul, how hard would it be to convert this body into Skip Hess' Revell Kit Mustang?
  19. Great kit and you did a great job with it! I like it!
  20. One came from a fellow in Australia and the other from Speed City Resin, which is also very nice! http://www.speedcityresin.com/DragsterPage.htm
