  1. My little score from our Model Club Meeting. Our good friend Darryl Gassaway is selling kits to raise funds for Victory Junction that where donated by Suzy Augustyn. Good deal all around! Could not believe he had the Nissan Pathfinder! One of my grail kits!
  2. Oooh! Love the Nissan Batmobile!
  3. Awesome build! Love the little details, like the tire chunk for the push bar! Very nice indeed
  4. That is showroom clean! Very nice!!
  5. No way! I love this Vette!! Custom work + right hand drive = Awesome!!
  6. Someone beat it with a JC Whitney Catalog and then drove it into the accessories section at Pep Boys! Maybe it was that Hot Husky Blonde that was filming it!
  7. It came out Awesome! Very nice!
  8. Nice to see what the new pieces look like when built! Nice job!
  9. Yes, that is why the JoHan kit is perfect for it. It is closer to the real car. For the latter Mustang, I woudl use the MPC kit. Not the best shot, but, it should help
  10. Sorry, I should have been more specific on which Mustang. The JoHan kit is correct for the Frederick's of Hollywood car. Like this one by some guy named John! http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=40117 John used an MPC car, but the Johan is correct style body with no Mach Hood Scoops on it.
  11. You can always put a Hemi in the Mustang and get some Slixx decals of Shirley Muldowney's car
  12. You can also look up K-88 Chassis as well.
  13. Both of these kits are based of actual real life funny cars and can be built as such. The Mustang being the Mickey Thompson car and the Challenger is the Gene Snow car. Slixx has the decals to do them both correctly. These kits are very accurate for their time and still hold up rather well. And no, they have not been re-issued in quite some time. Have fun and build them!
  14. Too bad they did not do the HEMI, that would have sold pretty good. The Revell bikes would be pretty cool as a set
  15. Very nice and clean! Who's wheels and tires?
  16. Nice and I like that color! Who's paint?
  17. Great! Now I want one!!
  18. Some of the parts for the rear wing are pretty fiddly and fragile, other than that, patience is your friend!
  19. I like the 60's car for what it was, a prop in a really campy t.v. show. From the newer more serious efforts, the Tumbler is the best of the lot. The early movie cars are pretty hokey and just too way over the top. Perhaps too much of a nod to the past, in my opinion.
  20. Very cool!
  21. If the new one can really run around like a Tumbler, then it has my vote. We shall see.
