  1. I don't know how collectible they are. But I bought them for purely nostalgic reasons. And both of those kits have been re-issued. So I would not feel too bad about moving them along
  2. I have a Don Prudhomme Dragster, The T Bone Stake and a Monogram 240Z in their club mailer boxes and the dragster has the tools and paints in it! The paint is Pactra and it is very dry!
  3. The Roof is too tall! They Photoshop'd it! The lights are too bright, the cigarette lighter doesn't work! How come Revell make a decent glovebox! I will never buy one! Unless they are on sale! And they come with more tires! And they offer decals! The box it came in is not square enough! The instructions are in black and white! Camaro means made in China! They need to make a four door of it! It needs more door handles! The roof is too short, narrow, curved, funny looking! It needs to look like the one they drove in the background of Maude! First!
  4. I used to be a member of the "MBCOA" when I was a kid back in the late 70's. There was a sign up flyer inside T.V. Guide! Basically, you would sign up and select a kit from the add, and after that, they would send you a kit every month, I think you had the option of sending them back if you did not want them, but, as a kid, I just kept them! Most of the kits where from Revell and eventually they started sending out Monogram kits. Revell had the Master Model Builders Club, that I believe later became the Young Model Builders Club, and that one you signed up with the flyer that came in their kits. It only cost a $1! You got some tools comprising of some tweezers, file, glue applicator, brush and some paints along with a certificate of membership, to hang in your room or club house, as they advertised, and a Revell Patch. Plus a newsletter with tips, the latest release news and a section devoted to Art sent in by members. Both of them went away back in the early 80's and they are no more. Real bummer, it was a cool thing for kids back then. And! I just found this! Good reading!! http://www.ironmodeler.com/2011/01/revell-master-modelers-club.html
  5. The Rabbit has all kinds of possibilities!
  6. This should be moved to General Discussion area, not really much about model building in this one.
  7. Looking great! But, the engine bay and underside blue could have been a bit lighter
  8. Crazy build! There used to be this guy around here who stuffed a 302 into his 510. Ran like stink but kept breaking rear ends! That was on crazy dude!
  9. I'll probably buy a couple just to build some quick shelf drag cars. They all don't have to be General Lee cars!
  10. Very cool! These kits are so much fun and great slump busters!
  11. Mine is almost done, just need paint and decals to finish it up
  12. Very nice builds. Don't see those everyday!
  13. They don't have "National Front" figures over there?
  14. Very nice! I like the cube twist to it.
  15. The HEMI is the automotive answer to Bacon. You can put Bacon in anything!!
  16. Previous General Lee kits are still easily obtainable and have the flag. So a new kit, a snap together at that and I even double checked this time, that does not have it is not a big deal. And this kit is aimed at kids and not full grown men. Trust me, most kids won't know or care and if you want them to know about the flag, then you teach your kids about it.
  17. I still have a set of Hawaiian Tropic decals from the Canon Ball issue, re-visiting my childhood once again!
  18. Who cares what some of you think. I'm buying it
  19. You have some serious skills! Very nice!!
  20. Got something I have wanted for quite some time, a Cheetah! It is the older Exotic Miniatures version that I believe is a pull of the old Cox body, but, it is in great shape!
  21. This happened back in 2012 and you guys are barely finding out about it?
  22. But, they are T.V. Show related Oh, and I forgot, AMT the Munster Coach and Dragula! That qualifies! And I think they even made model kits of the Banana Splits characters with vehicles
