  1. All I need are pedals, and I'm calling the dash done. Moving on to other areas.
  2. I've been working on the dash. The upper surfaces are just about done, but there's just as much below the dash as above, so that's next.
  3. I need a pair of 1968 Impala rear bumpers. I don't need the taillights, just the rear bumpers. Condition of plating is unimportant. Please E-mail at cmhjets@ outlook.com .to discuss further. Thank you.
  4. Thanks! I think I can work from this information. I appreciate this.
  5. Title pretty much says it all. Overall height, width, etc for a '60's, early 70's White 7000 cabover. Thanks!
  6. I've started the basic interior. Here are all the components...Cab, skirt, roof, interior, and the "glass". First, we insert the roof. Then, the interior assembly. Finally, the skirting.
  7. I sanded off the rivets on the top and redid them in the proper arrangement. I'm glad I didn't have paint on it at this point! Added more details, some of which will make it harder to paint, but I want the strongest possible bond. Not much left to do on the cab!
  8. I discovered some better shots of the roof. My rivet pattern on the roof is wrong, so I'm going to address that.
  9. I've added a few more details. Almost time to start the interior.
  10. I have sanded the rivets, and they look much better now. It doesn't really show up in a photo, but in person the effect is much more subtle. Moving on to further detailing.
  11. Cab is repaired, and the balance of the rivets have been added. I wish I could have made them a bit smaller, but this is as small as I could get and still work with them. I'll sand everything a bit when they dry.
  12. Just to let you know, Testor's cement will take the yellow printing right off a cutting mat.
  13. I managed to knock over a bottle of Testor's liquid cement, and some got on the model. I'll need to let it dry before I assess any damage. Darn.
  14. It's starting to look like a cab now. Progress continues. Window frames should straighten out when glass is installed. Rivets look a little large...I used them on a Freightliner and it looked fine. I'll work with them after they're all installed.
  15. I've got a start on the project. Here's where I am thus far...
  16. I haven't thought that far ahead. Very nice trucks, by the way!
  17. I like it! Hopefully my effort will be presentable.
  18. That is very, very helpful. Thank You! If you have more, that would be great, but this is a great help!!! Got any pics of the one you built? My cab will include the sleeper.
  19. I'm going to build a Dodge cabover similar to the truck pictured. I know it's available in resin, but that's part of the challenge. I have references that show in detail everything but the roof. Were there any seams or rivets up there? Whatever detail is on the roof, I'd like to reproduce it. I've got enough to get started, but I'd like that roof info if I can get it. Thanks!
  20. Louisville grille and surround are not the same parts from Louisville to W. They do not interchange on the real trucks. The number of openings on the grille are not the same. The dimensions are also not the same. However, if you did swap one for the other, I doubt too many people would notice. Actually, never mind. I see someone else has brought this up.
  21. I got paid 3 Cougars for my work. The rest belong to Paul.
  22. It might be time to change that air filter...
