    Cobra Wagon

Nice job! looks like a good "what if" possibility, kinda like an MG
  2. Holy heck, that's an ancient kit! Even says Toyopet on the license plate. You're doing good work so far.
  3. Looks great. I remember watching this movie when I was probably too young to be watching it.
  4. You're off to a great start. The more I see of this engine though, the less I like it. Not your work, the engine casting itself. I know its an ancient mold. The distributor angle is way exaggerated, and those intake manifolds are ridiculously too long.
  5. This is my Friend's band out of So. Cal. they have a dystopian/Mad Max vibe going.
  6. Looks pretty convincing for it being the wrong car.
  7. Good work. Black looks clean. We've already established this is a 1980 year model truck. It is the first year of this body style, and the only year to have faux hood vents by the cowl. in 1981 they were functional, and moved to the sides. Also 1980 was the last year of the L20b engine (in this kit), 81-87 has the Z20s engine. Here's the review from the Trucks section http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/91996-124-revell-datsun-reissue/?page=1
  8. Nice Monte Carlo. I like the bumper. The slotted grille was made out of a speaker grille from a newer Ford.
  9. That's really good considering the lack of reference pictures we had before the internet. There are two 1:1 replicas, one in Australia, and one in the U.S.A.
  10. Looking great. One of Tamiya's few shortcomings is a tradition of hollow seat backs. I'll take that over excessive flash and ill fitting parts any day.
  11. Really like the colour scheme you came up with. Looks great.
  12. Neat!
  13. This was based on an old Tyco slot car set, Racing Warriors, set in a post apocalyptic future.

  15. Wouldn't this essentially be a Fairlady Z 432?
  16. Great work and attention to detail. The body seals and bumpers really sell it. I like seeing these with proper wheels and stickers on them.
  17. Holy ?! Nice fab work.
  18. But she just couldn't stay she had to break away Well New York City really has is all oh yeah, oh yeah Sheena is a Punk Rocker - The Ramones.
  19. I'm still at it, but my computer crashed about a month ago. I've got a Trans-Am that's startign to come together and a Pantera I'm working on. Both will be kinda OG Death Race Vibe. I've also got a hold of a Nissan Leopard I will be working into a Farcon replica.
  20. I found out about Band-Maid a few months ago. Pretty rockin' I like "Don't Let Me Down" a lot.
  21. I remember buying that kit because it was clearanced at $5. Got it for the figure mostly. Hilariously it has a decal sheet so you can guild a racing version, which has some usable stuff on it like, Marlboro, Magnetti Marelli and stuff.
  22. Hmm. either way would be cool. Here's what my friend did with his.
  23. As much as I want this kit, I'm pretty fed up with vintage Revell toolings.
  24. These look about mid 80's vehicles to me. I'm no expert, but.... The Cedric was the Japanese Crown Vic, and the Gloria the Grand Marquis. They saw common use as police and taxis. They were never sold in the US.
  25. I had to look that up. I was thinking of the wacky 90's gull wing car. I did see an old Sunbeam on Hwy 330 near Running Springs. Had pretty faded red, maybe orange paint. Saw a dead raccoon, too.
