  1. Nice work. They made a Transformer of this car, thought it was a Maserati or something when I was a kid.
  2. Neat! Your carbon fiber looks fantastic!
  3. Looks great, the bodywork is excellent!
  4. Great job, I built this when I was 15, and I have two of the Dakar Rally versions. How where the tires on this antique kit? All the Gunze Sangyo (4) models I built, the tires craked or split in half after only a few years.
  5. Two weeks ago I saw a Jaguar E-type coupe, Like this: , broken down on the side of the freeway. it was a nice blue-grey. Looked really nice. Last week I saw a Lamborghini (newer spaceship looking one) being towed on a flatbed. The other day I saw a Aston Healey, like this: at a stop light. Yesterday, I saw a Dodge Rampage, like this: . That was the most surprising of all, I literally did a double take!
  6. Looks good. Only a fool would send that to the junkyard, though. Have you priced these lately?
  7. They have a limited view. I guess they've never heard of the 2000 GT, 240Z, 510, Celica, Crown, 1600 Roadster, Colt, Starquest, Skyline, Fairlady, RX-2, 3, 4, 7 and so forth. Prices on 1st gen Celicas, 240Zs and 510s are through the roof around here, even for beaters/junkers.
  8. It looks like the guy on the box art is about to get a facefull of windshield when he lands that.
  9. Rusty M/M funeral coach built from the original Ecto-1: Post-apocalyptic '59: I have the Escii '31, but its been in a box for 18 years and needs rebuilding, and the re-issue of Ecto-1 I haven't started.
  10. Thanks. I've taken to weathering most of my models, most of them tend to fall into 3 categories; drivers, racers, or post-apocalyptic. I try to build as clean as possible, but it helps to hide flaws... . Seeing a 4th gen Supra in the wild is like spotting a unicorn anymore. I think I've seen, like two in a year. I wanted to represent a nice, driveable car with subtle mods.
  11. What Slusher said. Search for "built" under models:automotive.
  12. Was looking at this the other day and got embarrassed I didn't paint the hubs and lug nuts Had to remedy that:
  13. Finished my Tamiya 1993 Supra. Only real mods were installing Aoshima BBS wheels and making a b/o plate for where the master cylinder isn't on the left. Plus
  14. Finished the Supra.
  15. Not familiar with the car, I've heard the name, though. Nice work. It looks better than the Eclipse we got here.
  16. Amazing work as before. Interior looks like you could climb in and start it up. It didn't dawn on me it was left hand drive before, I thought this was an English car?
  17. Your work is incredible! I don't think I've ever commented on it before, though. (Love your Hotwheels, too, btw)
  18. Great looking Porsche. These are neat cars for what were VW & Audi parts bin donors. One of my girlfriend's dad had one rotting in the driveway because he couldn't fix it. I was 19, I didn't care much at the time.
  19. Impressive . You're making the rest of us look bad. I thought the first few pics were what you were using as a reference. The license plate and oversized grass in the background gave it away.
  20. That looks great!, and I hate the original version. Really suits the body, like it was intended for this all along.
  21. You're off to a good start. Google pictures of your car & engine (and interior) for reference, so you can make sure you can paint the starter, fan, oil filter, etc. appropriate colors. Often the oil pan and freeze plugs will not be the same as the block, and adds detail. Is the transmission the same color as the engine and so on. I've been doing this lately, and the biggest pain is finding stock vs. modified stuff for reference... This kit looks related to the old Monogram Roadrunner. I'm glad to see it has the correct rear window.
  22. Looks good. I like the black better than the gold!
  23. Neat! These are Tamiya? I have a 1/35th by Italeri, or Escii, I think. Never seen these before.
  24. Neat. I knew the movie plane was modified, but I didn't realize the extent of it!
