  1. Scripts & storyboards began about 14 years ago, but the project got sidelined by the success of Babe & Happy Feet and their sequels. Then later on, Mel Gibson got drunk, arrested, and went on a few tirades. Then the storms turned Australia into a lush green paradise. Actual work began about 5 years ago, though. That's when we started seeing images of weird cars being built and shipped to Africa. http://www.blastr.com/2010/08/1st_glimpse_at_killer_car.php
  2. Excellent! That looks pretty close to a factory color & wheels. Those seats really look the part. (other than Vanagons would be 5 lug )
  3. I imagine it's kinda on parallel to the James Bond movies. Different actor with a signature car, in different circumstances.
  4. Looks like its on it way to being a teenager's car circa 1985.
  5. Fantastic work. Those decals look challenging.
  6. Nice work! I like the alternative Herbie.
  7. Well done. The paint looks great!
  8. I bet that handles like a dream with that extra weight and one less wheel. I could forgive the V8 if the rest of the car was built to accompany it, but the trike conversion makes this kinda useless.
  9. Everything looks fantastic. But those red & yellow wires are discombobulating and ruins the illusion. Looks too much like wires, instead of the black rubber hoses they represent.
  10. That's a whole lot of cutting goin' on. Making this look easy
  11. I'd definitely pick up this kit for the right price. It's admirable that you're gonna make your own rims. I would've just bought a set of Aoishima or Fujimi wheels.
  12. I've been a trash digger all my life. You just have to use common sense. Is it dry? Yes > No . Is it covered in body fluids or excrement? Yes < No. If not you're good to go.
  13. Well, it is a 928s. The website gives a pretty good look at all the pieces, and instructions. Fujimi reuses a lot of old toolings, but their toolings are good. It is a curbside, but the interior and exterior look very good to me. I'd get it, a 1/24 928 has been on my list for awhile for a project
  14. Lots of nice work here, but I'm not sure some of you understand what a Sleeper is.
  15. If you are using Internet Explorer, the cut & paste function hasn't worked properly for some time. Try using Google Chrome or some other internet browser, like, Firefox I guess. I haven't had any issue with Chrome.
  16. Looks great. Very clean work. My only suggestions would be, the grab handles are rubber and should match the upholstery. and maybe finish the moulding on the bumpers and the body. like so: It looks like it would be a daunting task, though.
  17. Those both look like they were made out of 4-doors. I like 4-doors, myself, but they are largely shunned and unwanted by rot rodders & restorers for the most part.
  18. I saw these at TRU. I was trying to determine if the wheels & chassis would be good for kitbashing anything.
  19. Great work, and nice photos.
  20. I guess I was too subtle in suggesting the topic had been derailed.
  21. You can be a coffee achiever You can sit around the house and watch Leave it to Beaver The future's up to you, whatcha gonna do?
  22. Nissan 240sx. Its called stance. The car didn't do anything to deserve this. Kids do stupid things. Remember in the early 90's when kids where running tiny wheels on spacers so the tires stuck out like 10" from the car? I think it's their kids doing this.
  23. The Vandals - Don't Stop Me Now
  24. The Damned. featuring Lemmy Kilmister doing Ballroom Blitz: White Rabbit:
