maltsr Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 (edited) I built my first version of this kit many years ago, and wanted to do another variation. I used the kit fender skirts, but reduced them in height and added three slits for some chrome trim spears, which were made from styrene strip covered in Bare Metal Foil. Otherwise this is mainly an OOB build with parts box wheels and some plug wiring. The front grill insert came from the AMT 1949 Ford (I think). Paint is Tamiya rattlecan, Coral Blue with a Racing White interior. I brushed some enamel Titanium Gold accents on the upholstery. This really is a great kit with excellent parts fit and ease of construction. Edited November 11, 2015 by maltsr
