Starting working on this one, and my plans, the look that I might be going for is this( still not decided)

Will be using the detail ups part set, or at least most of it.

And some assortment of parts being sorted for painting

A taped up shot of the most of the body parts

The engine and trans

After some painting and some gluing of the some parts together

Definitely off to a great start!!!  -Good luck!, and I hope it goes together well for you!  -this kit has people nervous about the final fitment. I've seen a couple of builders who attached the rear lower bumper before the rear cowl was tested with the doors on, and when he pulled the cowl to close the gap on the doors, it left a HUGE gap with the bumper area. He did it per directions, but when I do mine, I will attach the front and rear ends AFTER the rest of the car is together. Cant wait to see more!!!

Great start! Are you going to use carbon fibre decals?

Ben

Ben, at this moment, I am not, I must of missed seeing the C/F decals,  I was planning on building a second one and using C/F decals.  I am using what I like to call faux C/F,  its a graphite met paint that is very close to the same shade as C/F.  ( read, I am just really lazy )

I had a feeling there was going to be issues,  and I was doing some testing fitting of the front bumper on the front assembly section and it doesn't fit with the coolers in the place, if I dont address it,  the bumper will sit too far forward which will result in putting a nice gap between the bumper and bonnet cover.  So I am going to be addressing that issue before I proceed any further.

Ya, I wont even paint any of the body parts until the rest is put together. All the photos I've seen of it built shows that everything can fit together well if one is careful.

Right!, lucky for me I have not settled on a color yet

Ive seen a few of them too and the body panels will fit, this is a kit for sure that taking a bit of time and care will go a long way towards the end result.

Fair enough. So many nooks and crannies it would be a task in itself.

Hey Jonathan, mine is on the Way,,,I decided to wait for prices to calm a little,  I know yours is gonna be nicee!,one thing,I'm pretty  sure, that you ,have the same opinion about that rear bodywork.it looks like one person styled the front half of the car,and a 5 year-old did the Rear???

Looking good! Good ole GT6, was so good for trying colour combos! (where the hell is GT7 / sport for ps4...!!!)

Looking forward to seeing what you do with it, personally I fell in love with the one Jay Leno did

Good question, I have no idea, GT Sport is up next, I am not even sure at this point if that is going 7 , but I dont think so as going to be a online focused game, this should help you stay up to date with the GT series

That's a familiar pic Jonathan, do you play GT6?

I do, so good catch, direct from photo travel mode ^_^

I dont spend much time playing it much any more, I just do the seasonal events and I am done.

I dont think the prices are really to get lower for a good amount of time, so I would just buy one now, the current pricing in the $30's is very much worth it.

To be honest, never really thought about it much, but the front and rear dont match each other, but this is a super car, so that is kind of expected .
