Hey everyone. I finished this Fairlane back in May of this year, and I forgot to take any pictures. The body has been shaved of all emblems, lock cylinders, and trim. Door handles were replaced with Revell 69 Talladega handles. Color is Tamiya Pure white with Testors one coat clear. Interior is Testors Italian red with foiled trim. Power is a 427 SOHC and a 4 speed. Wheels are Casey's big steel wheels with kit hubcaps and redlined tires. All comments are welcome!

Very clean work, especially on the ultra-glossy white paint, which isn't easy to pull off. Well done!

Not sure I'm really digging the "big steel" wheels, though. To be honest, they kind of remind me of a certain line of diecasts I see at Walmart (Jadas, maybe?) that I'd be tempted to buy one or two of, but their oversized wheels/tires put me off. But hey, that's just ME. It's YOUR model, and you built it the way YOU wanted, and good for you! B)

Super nice great execution too. While I'm not usually a fan of the big wheels either they do work here. The only thing I would change is that on all Fairlane hardtops the entire A pillar is covered with a stainless steel trim plate with no body color in the center. That's an Ertl screw-up.
