Limeyglue Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Here is my version of the 31 ford by revel. Really old kit lots of fitment issues made harder by going fenderless! i was hoping to finish it this weekend for a show but the doors have decided to fight me so thats not going to happen! Thanks for looking Lee
Eric Macleod Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 I like your wheel tire combination. Where did you get them? Looks like a very good model.
RAT-T Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 LOOKS REAL NICE LEE, IS THE SUSPENSION STOCK HEIGHT?
Dennis Lacy Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Nice! Really dig the color and the new Revell "A" wheels and tires look perfect on it.
espo Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Very nice looking. I'd just leave the doors open and not worry about the fitment when closed. I like the Very Old School look. You might want to check the Camber angle on the front tires.
Limeyglue Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 Thanks for the comments guys. Eric the wheels are from the revell 29 roadster, Tom the ride height is stock in the rear and the kit dropped front axle. Dave the front wheels are one of the issues i'm having as its supposed to have poseable steering but the king pins are not man enough and i only found out after i had built the axle. cheers Lee
Matt T. Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Classic hot rod! Love the color, stance, rolling stock, everything. Really cool.
zaina Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 This thing has all the right looks to it. Those chassis are very fiddely to build but if done right and with some beefing up with metal rods, they are a very accurate represention if the real thing.
Metaldrumm Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 Yea everything looks like it came out good ,like those rear tires alot.
#1 model citizen Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 I really like the wheel/tire combo. I think it looks fine without the doors. Maybe you should leave them off (unless you fear the competition will say they blew your doors off)
modelfink Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 Killer little hop up! screw the doors, throw some surf boards in there and hit the beach.
geewhiz Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Looking cool, Lee!!! Great old time hotrod. ?????????
Limeyglue Posted February 13, 2018 Author Posted February 13, 2018 Thanks guys hoping to finish this weekend if the doors behave!
