Mark Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 They aren't "sweaty", they are "game worn"...
Snake45 Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Some people have just WAY too much money.
STYRENE-SURFER Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 There are just too many wisecracks available on the sale of Tiger's putter. i will abstain ?
afx Posted September 17, 2020 Author Posted September 17, 2020 From the Auction site: As you can imagine, since only a small handful of Tiger Woods Scotty Cameron backup putters were ever produced, even fewer have left Tiger's orbit and reached the collector market. Surely any Tiger Woods putter is highly valuable, but offered here is an actual putter of Tiger's from 2001 - when Tiger's career was at its peak. The most recent Tiger Woods backup putter to reach the auction block was early 2019 when we sold a different variation for $88,809.

espo Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 To quote Richard Prior, "This is the lords way of telling you you have way to much money".

Clearly the purchaser had less intelligence than a bowl of chili, but had a half million and change to blow on...that.
Phirewriter Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 (edited) A Hendrix or SRV guitar, Neil Pert's drums or, well insert your musician/instrument of choice here. I'd completely understand that, it was something that was used to create incredible music. That's ☝️ nothing more than a dunce hat... Edited September 18, 2020 by Phirewriter
tbill Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 It’s all relative, I’m sure that 1/2 mil was like $20 to the guy that bought that thing.
