Misha
Great weathering detail on the engine Mike! Also like the Rudge style steel wheels rather than the laces. Any car that can wear a number is a thoroughbred, which your build of this classic promises to be. Cheers Misha

kpnuts
Now its not very often you hear of people adding details like a dipstick, now that is attention to detail.
Fifer
I have done Dip Sticks and Valve stems quite often. We shall see. Mike

Fifer
Here is more work with the roll bar made and just sitting in there along with the bulk of the outside pipes less the end tip turnouts. Mike
Ensis Ferrae
How is the overall quality of the kit?? I'll be honest, I'm tempted because who doesn't like the look of those jags? But. . . my experience with Heller has been less than stellar. So far, I've done their old, 1980s release Bentley Blower, and their Peugeot 205 Group B rally car. The bentley was a pretty good kit, the Peugeot. . .well, the less said the better.

It is not a great kit but a little better than SOME Monograms and not as good a new Revell. Thanks , Mike
wrenchr
I was wondering about the Heller kit. Might take the plunge if one crosses my path for the right price. You are making some nice progress on it. An E-type lightweight needs to be kitted. Edited November 30, 2020 by wrenchr
wrenchr
That is an E-type........
Matt Bacon
That’s a Low Drag Coupe as well as a Lightweight and it’s super rare. The regular lightweights have a “normal” bubble hardtop, which you can find in Heller and Gunze 1/24 kits (and maybe some boxings of the 1/25 Revell kit) best, M. Fifer
Got a tiny bit more done. Roll Bar is done. Dash and wheel are done. sanded and primed body and nose. Side exhaust is completed. No picture of front end yet as I went overboard with primer. I did get the grill opening re-shaped. Mike
Fifer
Well , finally got her done and now know why Heller starts with Hell. Not proud of it and simply glad to be done. Mike
