Bullybeef Posted October 16, 2022 Author Posted October 16, 2022 I’m liking this more and more, suspension will be getting final assembly pretty quick, then the engine will be plumbed and installed. 6
Bullybeef Posted October 16, 2022 Author Posted October 16, 2022 At this point I may go slightly cross eyed 2 1
Bullybeef Posted October 17, 2022 Author Posted October 17, 2022 Chassis just about done, work on the engine is at a standstill, for some reason I’ve developed a slight shake in my hands??♂️ 2
Bullybeef Posted October 19, 2022 Author Posted October 19, 2022 Hands still shaking but I’m making progress 3
XYHARRY Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Nice progress Bil. Have you seen a doctor about your shakes? Cheers, David.?? 1
Bainford Posted October 19, 2022 Posted October 19, 2022 Seriously cool Deuce you're putting together, Bil. I love everything about it. 1

I love it ? ! ! ! Finish it! Thank you Jim, I’m excited to get it across the finish line, now that it’s close to the end it deserved a name. Not gonna lie the wires took hours, had to figure out new ways to brace/steady my hands. I usually don’t have to use stands and clamps for wiring, but hey I’m not getting any younger. This most likely stems back to neck injuries from my past, I know I have nerve damage. Edited October 20, 2022 by Bullybeef Spelling
slusher Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 It’s not easy, I work with MS and have very little to no use of my right hand . Your build is looking Great. Hang in there brother. 1

Thank you Carl, I’ve dealt with and have overcome a lot of adversities in my life, I took up this hobby again after my heart attack to find a low stress low impact hobby. It has had its moments, but loss of control over my hands would make this a difficult hobby to continue. I’ll keep plugging away as long as I can. Edited October 20, 2022 by Bullybeef 2

Some days are better than others so we do what we can on the good ones and watch Netflix on the bad ones. ? 3

Thank you, I try to build cars that appeal to my senses lol, cars that I would actually own and drive. And I love the design of the flathead engine, yes it’s not as powerfull as the sbc, nailheads or olds mills. But it has a unique character. 1
bobthehobbyguy Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Nice work. The beauty of model building is to be able to build them to your preference. Lots of great parts to work with. 2

I just sent my last full set of parts to @chris chabre Replicas and Miniatures of Md does a beautiful setup just like that for those that are looking.
Bullybeef Posted October 20, 2022 Author Posted October 20, 2022 It’s all in the small details now, alignment of the interior panels etc. 1
Bullybeef Posted October 20, 2022 Author Posted October 20, 2022 Well shaky hands be damned, this is getting finished tonight!
