Donn Yost question

I'm not sure if this is the correct section to post this but I'm a fan of Donn Yost's videos and noticed he hasn't posted anything for a while. I know he's had a serious health problem.. but does anyone know anything... I even goggled it and couldn't find anything. If this post is in the wrong section i apologize.....thanks

Donn is usually present as a vendor at the NNL East, so it would be great to see him there on April 22.

I hope he's doing ok - I really enjoyed his "Fundamentals" video series.  I don't know him, but I'd like to chat with him sometime

I just read a post on his Facebook page that mentioned a possible brain tumor. I certainly hope that’s not the case….

I'm really looking forward to NNL east this year.. I haven't been to one since I took my youngest son about 15 years ago... just so happens I got into models again because of and during the Covid thing and then it was canceled twice! But back to Donn, I hope he's  doing good and well enough to attend. He's really a shinning light for the hobby... I really looked forward to Fridays and the  "Fundamentals" video series. lotta' experience there....

I used to tune in on Fridays also. He did have surgery for brain cancer problem, but he said they had gotten it all taken care of. Posted episode after surgery, but that was last one. Hoping for the best for him.

I was hoping the Facebook post about that was wrong. Not good news. Hope he can get back into the swing of things.

I hope he is OK. I pray he will have a speedy recovery. I have learned a lot from his youtube videos.

I saw info on YouTube that he had passed.  Some guy had learned the news from Donn's life partner.  Condolences to his family.

There was a comment posted a few days ago on the last YouTube video he did stating that someone had reached out to his wife enquiring about him. It stated she told this person that Donn is “struggling with his disease”. So, based on that, one would have to assume he is still amongst the living. I hope this is accurate, and prayerfully hope he can return to the world of model cars, with the disease behind him.

I would think his family and  Dons priority is to get healthy. I would think if he is no longer among us it would be posted here..We need too keep him in our prayers…

The last time he posted anything on You tube was 6 months ago but he did have brain surgery according to him on one of his vids.
