Revell 1969 Camaro

[AMT68]

This 1/25 scale '69 Camaro has been painted in Duplicolor Champagne Pearl (a Chrysler color) and cleared with Rust-Oleum. The tires and wheel covers are from the '63 Nova wagon. This was probably the third or fourth car where I did foil under paint for the scripts. While I had others with very fine script for some reason the fender scripts on this one were much more challenging. I sanded off the trunk script simply because I found it to be a cleaner look.

Paint color is as we would see when they were on our neighborhood streets in high school. Great model.

Great looking paint finish and the color goes well with the interior. Like the clean look of a more standard mainstream Camaro, the cowl induction hood may leave a few thinking there be more to the story here.  Clean chrome trim and the hub cap and white walls look good together.

Thank you Jeremy, David, Robert and Jim. I use that off white for interiors and find it works with many exterior colors.

Thanks David. I picked up a few sets of these wheel cover and tire sets. I really like the look of the wheel covers one they are detailed.

Thanks Mike, David and Tom. The overall diameter of the wheel covers and tires are just slightly smaller than those of say a Bonneville or Impala. And probably why I think they work pretty well on the Camaro.

Thanks Mario. I've taken a liking to photographing in the late day sun especially with the gold cars I've done this year.
