gasser59
No...sorry...no updates at this time. next up is the hanging clothes in the closet before I can glue in that driver's side cabinet. Then is the rear panel which needs the outer skin, license plate and lights plus the taillights. I went and bought the different colors acrylic paints for the clothes this weekend so I've got this on my bench, staring at me.

gatorincebu
I just found and read this whole thread this afternoon. What a totally awesome display of craftsmanship and imagination.Aside from being a really cool build thread. I do remember reading about the trip in Nat Geo when I was a kid. gasser59
Today was the day to do the hanging clothes for the closet. Made from sheets of Kleenex painted with colored acrylic, white glue, scenic glue and water. These were formed over printing plate sheets cut to fit the closet. Need a few more things on the top shelf and then I can glue this in place and proceed to put in the rear wall of the camper portion. Its a challenge to get a decent shot of the closet with how tight it is in there. The camera just doesn't know what to focus on. These were the best out of ten or so. Thanks for following along. gasser59
Thanks Richard. I'm still plugging away at it. Working on Dale's battery operated record player at the moment based on the third picture in the first post in this thread. It will go on the top shelf in the wardrobe closet along with a few album covers. Edited January 26, 2016 by gasser59

gasser59
A bit of work done on this finally. Added another box and a pillow to the shelf in the wardrobe closet, no picture at this time. Now that the driver's side cabinet is complete, it got glued in place. Also made a soap dish for the bathroom/shower our of printing plate and evergreen. Also started on the front window frame for the camper out of more printing plate. More to come this week.
