Is it a car or a truck? I put it here and the moderators can move it if they so desire. It's a pretty basic little kit that I painted HOK snowhite pearl. The kit comes with a big block Chevy engine. Pictures do wonders - around the tailllight looks nasty.

Looks nice to me Jim...always liked these odd little trucks/cars. Strange as it seems my brother owns a 83 Dodge Rampage its restored but was in excellent one owner condition anyway...the title states it as a truck so it has to have truck plates on it while a ElCamino or Rancharo twice the size can have car plates here..so can a window van or Suburban...if my truck had a flat bed I could haul the Rampage on the back.

I've got to get one of those kits! I used to drive one. It was a 61 with the small in line 6. I think it was 144 cu. in. Put a rebuilt 170 in it and a C4 automatic out of a Mustang. Four lug aluminum wheels made it look nice. Originally used as an Atomic Energy Commission vehicle in Oak Ridge, TN where I bought it. Used it for several years during the 70s hauling dirt bikes around. Wish I still had it.

Great looking Ranchero Jim !!

But watch out . . . Harry may say it's okay here but there's a Mod you always moves them to the Trucks section . . . Oops , maybe it's already been moved ?

I gave up a long time ago .

Thank you guys.

Ranchero & El Camino always confuse me, Harry.

Nice little Ranchero, Jim. I really like those rims and that engine work.

Easy way to tell if an El Camino or Ranchero is a car or truck: If it's slow enough to see in the rear view, it's a car. If you see the bed blaze by you on the road, then it's a truck. It all depends on whether it's coming or going.

I'm like the Australian term, "The heck with it. Let's just call it a Ute and forget it."
