mrmike Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 This is my Overhaulin' style '65 Dodge A100 painted with Tamiya Mica Red over red primer. The wheels are Pegasus Chrome Ts.
slusher Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Mike, l really like this build. Nice color, nice touch on the smooth tailgate and great choice on the wheels....
TooOld Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Very nice ! I like the color and the smooth look .
Danno Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Nice. That's a subject we don't see modeled very often!
bogger44 Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 I'm glad to see you were able to get this one finished Mike! Lookin' good.
mrmike Posted December 2, 2012 Author Posted December 2, 2012 Thanks guys! Tony, I just had to get this one off the bench since I don't have a "shelf of broken dreams" like some builders do. If I didn't finish it, it would have been an albatross hanging around my neck!
Bartster Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Great to see this one finished, Mike. lt turned out very nice! lt makes me wanna get my stalled A-100 back out. The doors were giving me fits, so l went in a completely different direction. l can only hope mine turns out half as nice! Fine job on a PIA kit ! Bart.
george 53 Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 VERY nice job bro! you don't often see these in real life all fixed up. Most of them were used up till they rusted out! YOURS looks GREAT!
mrmike Posted December 16, 2012 Author Posted December 16, 2012 Thank you guys! I am so glad that this one is off the bench and the end result looks pretty good. If this kit hadn't fought me so much, I would have finished it sooner and displayed it for the Classic Plastic Model Club Challenge back in September. Oh well...life goes on! While looking at the pictures of this A100 again, I noticed that the passenger side of the instrument panel was falling off so I went and reglued it back into the proper position.
