The Buttera 1926 sedan, 27 phateon, and the 34 ford (might be the cheapest becuase of the out of proportion body) all have a front suspension that matches the illustration.
I agree Bill that it's for small amounts in this case but that doesn't seem to bother them. All i know is the scam is quite prevalent where ever people are looking for items.
This is known was the WTB scam. The pattern for the scam is you get a pm from a new member with zero post count referring you to someone else who supposedly has the item you are looking for. You will be ripped off. The last time this happened if you google the contacts email address you will see it is often being used for scamming others on other sites also.
Posts are moderated however pms are not. I dont think the mods have a way to moderate them. here needs to be a block on pms till a post count is established. That would prevent this from happening.
So if the argument is its unreasonable to expect members to use tags and create meaningful titles why should Dave add a new section titled BIG Boys when there will be people who won't use that section either. Tags are a useful tool to allow virtual groupings that are meaniful.
Creating meaningful titles and utilizing tags is not that difficult. They will definitely enhance the usefulness of the board. Unwillingness to do so is just being lazy.
Exactly. Besides changing the categories is not a trivial task and no matter how it is done there will be different opinions on how it should be implemented. We need to use the tools available to us. Tags and meaningful titles go a long way in making the board more useful.
There is another solution to creating more categories. The forum supports a feature called tags. The current categories are more than adequate.
Four tags can be used for a thread. The desired content can be found using them. Also including the scale in the title helps.
I remember a number of discussions of members that felt the large scale section didn't receive the attention it should have. I think merging the large scale section was a good idea.
The reality is that there are mistakes made in code. Those mistakes can be present for years and impact a large number of programs. I recently saw a video that a slot machine player found that a flaw that allowed the machines to pay out more than the machine was suppose to. He found that a sequence of button pushes caused the issue. It was a flaw that existed for a number of years.
Let's face it the banks aren't providing on line banking for your convience it's because they can have fewer branches and thus fewer employees.
