  1. Greg, the black body looks like you could put jump-seats in the back. A sort of phantom, maybe? It kinda reminds me of the '39 Chevy coupe. Sanding it into shape should be fun 🙂.
  2. Looks like you have this one well in hand. Very nice detailing all around. I have this kit in queue and was looking through it last night. It's a great kit. I'm following
  3. Glad you decided to get back to this one, Greg. The chassis work looks terrific.
  4. Totally amazing. 🤩
  5. Any time someone here posts a '41 Plymouth build, I've just got to look. This one looks pretty good, Jeff. Greg is right. I dunno, maybe clear coat it and call it a day. Stance ain't everything. 🥴 The Red Ram baby hemi is a fairly cool power plant and it keeps it all Mopar. Good on the 4-speed.
  6. Thanks, Bob. The hot water is a good, safe way to get the pressure up. It helps to "atomize" the paint. It sounds like it got a heavy wet coat. Is that the case?
  7. Bob, the Desoto grille looks really good. Did you apply the Revell chrome over primer, a black base, or just on the bare resin?
  8. Those inner fenders look like they grew there, Dennis. Super clean work.👍
  9. Since you are asking, my gut on the slanted B-pillar says nah but it's still a bit rough and maybe it will improve as you work it more. The other one is A-1
  10. This all looks like it's going to work well for you, Dennis. Keep it up!
  11. Yessir! You nailed this one, Greg 👍🌞
  12. That's looking super, Dennis. Very legit. Got a color yet?
  13. Ashes would dump on the seat when it was flipped up. I just thought ash trays on the armrests would further the idea of correctness. It's pretty common on many cars.
  14. Nice work on the console, Dennis. The back seat area looks legit, too. Maybe ash trays on the rear armrests?
  15. Nope. snows all gone today but where can I find a pair of realistic 1:25 snow tires? Hmmmm.....
  16. You can get out of your comfort zone for sure with this kit, Sean. There's plenty to keep you busy.
  17. Well that's a horse of a different color, Sean. I have a '66 full custom that I need to button up after I finish with this one. It's a completely different animal in that the '66 kit is based on an old screw-bottom annual. I will be digging that thread out soon enough
  18. Well Greg, there was really only one way for me to find that out and I found it! You may go from T-bird to Plymouth but not Plymouth to T-bird. The T-bird has deep recesses for mounting the wiper and the Plymouth just has some holes. Everything from the past two years has parts and pieces in various small containers all over the bench. That, in and of itself, is not the problem. My memory is. There's at least four more cars in various phases of construction waiting for my magic touch. I've got to get a handle on this mess. I need a drink.
  19. Just a few pix from my somewhat diminished efforts this fine Monday. I got the front and rear buttoned up. The rear bumper/tail lights thing, for some unknown reason, wouldn't seat so I had to remove material from the mating areas until I was OK with the fit. Maybe I knew and totally forgot about the fit. When I attempted the windshield wipers I discovered I had the wrong ones....so where's the right ones? Uh oh, I musta put 'em on the Plymouth cuz that's where these are from. Gotta do that tomorrow. 😅
  20. Yup, a juvenile delinquent, in my estimation. 👮‍♂️
  21. Oh sure, Greg, now that it's almost finished you show up and glean all the good info...and not one smart-alecky remark or 🐃💩 praise? Shame on you! ..........🤣🤣
  22. I sure hope so, Lenny, cuz there ain't much happening around here 😴
