MPC Cavalier to Pontiac J2000 conversion.....
MsDano85gt replied to MsDano85gt's topic in WIP: Model Cars
the "pro street" chassis is crazy awsome on this kit I want to say the more modern revell/ monogram issues used the same frame/ format and very similar parts like the pro street 55' upon further inspection of bodys the mpc and monogram kits share pretty much all the same details altho the pro street body is smooth ( no rub strips) belt line door trim I'm really going to try to make a "factory looking car out of the remenants of the J body glue the cavalier front and rear on it and build my own chassis possibly a rwd platform...... we will see -
Dr. olds would be proud the pesky hoods on those kits never sit right......

You know its bad when I was "off" today went to some salvage yards trying to see if anyone had a vehicle that would have a match to my factory amp that junked out...... no luck one of the yards let me go walk around looking for the saturns on the list....... it just so happened there was a random complete door glass mirror and all leaning up on a vehicle...... i knew what the door was off from a distance yet i got a closer look anyways I was correct Foxbody mustang door..... dosn't help that i have owned 2 of them i suppose that door was just sitting there like a model kit part thats all 1:1 is really one giant model kit with more parts n pcs lol when i do jobs at the body shop seeing all the parts tore down bumper covers draped here and there I just think to myself i'd maybe be good at that job dismantling and reassembling!
