Erik i have so many projects I tend to go from one to another very often sometimes i think this is to minimize mistakes, but i tend to find on some builds i just wand "done" i will omit certain details that don't bother me like leaving a chrome gas filler cap off, door handles, or perhaps a spoiler....... sometimes if i want a kit done faster i will just not do things that i like to such as engine wires, or leave coils and distributors off the engines. I do love the fact of the hobby that if put together correctly our little scale vehicles can be "REBUILT" i tend to find myself updating or changing up alot of older builds like switching rims and tires, or motor swap

  5. ford mustang foxbody weehls circa 80-83 or 84? 85 foxes went ten hole wheels and alot of 79- 84 had the crazy metric "trx's" those were the common wheels and steelies and the wire hubcaps you whhhaaaaaaaat (slaps forehead) Douh! i woulda loved to have them!

  9. Had a friend from another webpage duplicate some not so common ford mustang wheels for me for so many of my may foxbody projects! more pics will follow as i get images uploaded to my bucket
  10. found some images floating around on the intra web and it instantly clicked! hey i have a ol style capri kit, and hey i have a ford kit with wheels very VEry close to the wheels pictured on the concept cars it would be a sweet car put a cayote motor in it I would buy one for sure! its great to be back online here at mcm by the way (sighs) waaaay too long away

  12. we actually moved farther north from where our apartment was from south of interstate 10 to north of the interstate still only a little over 200 some feet above sea level better insurance farther away from the water still within 10 miles or less from beaches though thanks Been awile since i have got on the laptop died and i could not find the power cord! lol the joys of a moving losing and finding things!

So I finally have a moment to get online and we have successfully setup internet at our new home (5 years old) NEW to us Long story short this is the first time back on mcm since the move, We BOUGHT a House its so very nice its great to be homeowners now and my whole styrene collection under one roof or should i say garage Honestly i have been spending alot of time away on FB model groups as well its just more conveinent since it on my phone i need to upload mcm on there and try to get it going mobile as well Hope to be getting a hobby station going and projects rolling to the finish lines again! cheers

  19. Love it chuck if i had one of those supercharged t bird drivetrains i Too would love to put one in a foxbody love the peguses rims too nice build for sure

I started a Facebook page for "FORDS" and yes that includes the lincoln and mercury division as well i know alot of folks here at mcm are not much for facebook ( i could be wrong) i was just letting everyone know and if you have a moment to check it out one of my now best friends in modeling Bartster (Bart Deatherage) i met here on mcm i chat with freqently on fb his work is found on fb nowadays he says this site is no longer friendly for his phone anyways check it out like what you see feel free to join and chime in or post your ford stuff ~Danny https://www.facebook.com/groups/370755379781644/
  21. bet you could scratch a twizler dispenser from a parts box teardrop or gem "porthole" window from a ford or chevy van kit drill a hole in a side find some Red thread close to twizzler Red thread it through the hole and carefulle spool it up in the clear part and glue to roof of car
