  1. Go on, take a look http://instagram.com/modelroundup
  2. These are the two chassis next to each other. Excuse the dust, they are mostly mock up frames now. I lined them up at the rear axle and here you can see the difference in length And here is the proverbial Winged Express Chassis, AKA Black Widow, AKA Fuel Vette and so on... The Second chassis is a very weird Revell Funny Car Chassis that was in the Revellaser Pinto and Eastern Raider Pinto. Weird but will make a good Altered Chassis.
  3. Great colors and nice fog job!
  4. You nailed it! Nice job, Plum!
  5. Easy, the Aurora Racing Scenes collection! I have the Drivers, Mechanic with Tool Box, The 392 Injected Hemi and the Pinto Body
  6. Most of these resin bodies are made to fit the 80's and up chassis style. The Revellution funny car has what is now referred to as the "Buttera" style chassis and the McDonald's car has what is called a modern style chassis.
  7. This was a Tamiya display at our local IPMS show. I believe that is new from Tamiya Nashorn Self Propelled Tank Destroyer http://www.tamiyausa.com/items/plastic-model-series-20/1-35-scale-military-miniature-12000/nashorn-heavy-tank-destroyer-35335
  8. Hands down, the Hasegawa kit is great! It is a curbside, but looks very nice when built.
  9. Why are they listing the car hauler as "Big Scale"?
  10. That my friend, is one of the great mysteries of the modeling world! This could also be a tooling that was started long ago but never finished or not put into production for various reasons.
  11. Revell wants to sell CV kits as well. Hence why they are making one despite the fact that LIndberg has one already.
  12. Most of the photos I post are taken with my phone, and yes, you can practice and get good with it. If you have the nice photo gear for it, use it, otherwise, the phone should do the trick. You can take them and delete them until the battery dies! So have at it and practice, practice and practice!
  13. Maybe they are making them because they are not making any money off Lindberg sales?
  14. Thanks for the tutorial, Mark! And that blue chassis pic, is that what I think it is?
  15. In the Star Wars behind the scenes documentary that came in the Blue Ray set, they talk about building the models and how they would keep running back to the hobby shops to get more models for parts. The concept X WIng Fighter was build using mainly Revell 1/16 Scale Dragster parts. Pretty cool stuff.
  16. /\ That Matra would have been awesome!
  17. I use Photobucket and have not had a problem. Maybe it's a Fotki problem
  18. The local Oldies station is now playing mostly 80's Music, yes, we are getting old. Nothing new.
  19. Check out Competition Resin's version http://www.compresins.com/site/751597/product/CR-2010
  20. Actually, you could use those kits body panels with a Tommy Ivo chassis for the correct wheelbase. This car came out in '68 and is a Woody Gimore Chassis car. Or just cut down the JA or Garlits cars.
  21. Cool, but, are the rims the same all the way around?
  22. Great build! But, the only thing I have to point out is the injector hat face and butterflies where painted black on the real car. Garlits didn't want the competition to know how much he was opening it up when he launched! Otherwise, great build!
