  1. Three totally different kits that do not really need to be compared. They all offer their own unique parts and builds. I would call this a Draw. And I did not vote in the poll
  2. Crazy cool! Nice job!
  3. This is like Crazy Wow!
  4. This is so cool! Can't wait to see the finished product!
  5. They are very nice decals! I have a few of the 1/16th sets and they are very well done. Highly recommend them!
  6. McEwen decals are available from Slixx, but, any Prudhomme stuff is pretty much either Monogram, Revell or underground decal maker stuff. Prudhomme stuff was not easy to license and rarely did anyone get permission without heavy royalty payments and some just got a flat out No, like Slixx did.
  7. I think one of his first was the Revell Jungle Jim Monza in 1/25th scale. It has a totally stock factory box art wiht the only change being the Model King Logo. It was awesome to find on in a hobby shop back then as almost all vintage drag stuff was non-existent. Thanks Dave!
  8. Nice set! I always wanted to do these two and this is great inspiration! Thanks!
  9. Very cool idea and great execution! Nice!!
  10. Wow! That is a show car! Very nice and clean work!
  11. Dave Burkett is the Model King
  12. I would say yes, Casey. Looks like the same style of "Art" they used for their last Drag releases, Mongoose and Jungle Jim. Horrible box "art"! Come on Revell, get it together! Oh, yeah, Mustang
  13. The new nose is a vast improvement over the original. This is a pic of an early re-issue and a resin Malco body mastered by Paul Mendoza. The yellow nose is the original version
  14. Eric Clapton started building models when he began getting sober and apparently still does.
  15. Well, I am genuinely excited to be going to the show, and, I will be setting up in the vendors area!
  16. That is pretty cool, and yes, I do know how to paint!
  17. Thanks Chuck and everyone else who pointed it out. I forgot that I even posted on that thread. After re-reading it all, I must agree, it is not good that they can not get these things right. Bummer
  18. It looks even cooler in person!
  19. I had the two Mini Craft kits when I was a kid. Bought them at a discount type shop for only $1.50 each! Wish I still had them! I am a total sucker for vans and weird kits!
  20. Just curious, and before the thread does get locked, yo! We know Revell is aware of this and they have, in a sort of direct way via Mr. Ed Sexton, made it somewhat official that the body will not be fixed. Apparently it is not as bad as the Charger. So, with that said, will some of the folks who would like it changed, even though they are not fixing it as of right now, still buy it? We know why you don't want to spend money on it, but, in the long run, if nothing is done to the mold, will you just bite your lip and buy one? It's ok to be honest, you are among'st caring and loving people. And for the bonus round, has anyone actually measured a real one and compared it to the kit. I mean really used a measuring tape and did it. Not just "looked at one" If someone did and posted it, please let me know as I would like to see that. Really.
  21. Nice work, Chris! If I may suggest a build tip. Just in case you did not think of it already. On my last large build, I cut the top of the zoomies flat. If you look at them, they are molded like the tip of a needle with the tip at an angle. Cutting them flat with give them that staggered look, like real zoomies! Keep up the good work!
  22. That is definitely a "Dare to be different" build! Very cool!
  23. That is cool! I have a glue bomb for resto on the shelf and this will help! Thanks!
  24. Polar opposites, but both very cool! Nice job!
  25. Very nice!
