  1. In California you can run your original plates indefinitely, if the car does not leave the state, otherwise new ones must be obtained when returning to CA. They have two tags, one is month of registration, that never changes unless there is a title change, and the year is on the other corner and that is renewed every year. My Xterra has current white reflective plates with blue text and my 72 Datsun 510 is running its original blue plates with yellow text.
  2. Yes, yes I do. And the worse part, I go out and buy something to else to build!
  3. I just use the model boxes with plastic grocery bags for padding! Cheap!
  4. Actually, those are pretty darn rare and I think it is aimed at R/C collectors out there. Considering that their R/C Baja Bug commanded some pretty high prices before it's re-release makes this just about right. And the Baja Bug is way easier to find!
  5. Alright! Alright! Take it easy on the guy, he is making my cars look way better!
  6. I like car and its fun
  7. Nice job, Tool Man!
  8. Taka! Taka! Taka! taka!
  9. And a very period correct '62 Catalina! Love the spaghetti plug wires!! Very correct color for 1962! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1962-PONTIAC-421-SUPER-STOCK-PRO-BUILT-1-25-SCALE-PLASTIC-MODEL-/201022484274?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item2ecddfaf32 I would not be so harsh if he had not advertised it as "Pro Build" sorry, Built!
  10. Looks like he has Grumpy decals to spare! He also built this beauty! http://www.ebay.com/itm/BILL-GRUMPY-JENKINS-1957-CHEVY-PRO-MOD-GRUMPYS-TOY-1-24-PRO-BUILT-MODEL-/201024318695?pt=Model_Kit_US&hash=item2ecdfbace7
  11. Thanks guys. This one came pretty close to being a missle shot across the garage a few times. Glad you like it!
  12. I like it! I like it a lot! Nice work!
  13. I can't remember if I posted this here before, so, here it is again if I didn't and sorry for the double post if I did! This little beast is pain the rear! The bed is glued permanently to the frame. I used the engine out of the Revell 40 Ford, wheels from the Revell 65 Chevy Pick up and the paint is Testors Inca Gold. Hope you like it!
  14. Looks like stiff competition! Nice job!
  15. Who makes those scooters?! They are cool!
  16. You have a sharp eye there, Checkmate! Wish I had more room to display them all!
  17. Very cool! That should make some folks leave confused and scratching their heads!
  18. Well, you did a great job with those decals! I thought I might have been the only one to get a bad set of them since it has happened before with Slixx decals.
  19. I would not put those Revell kits up with the Palmers. They may have been a pain to assemble, but you could get good results if you tried, or built at least 3 of each!
  20. Nice! I tried building this one, but, the decals went to pot real fast on me! Ended up with the just the plain white version. After seeing yours, I think I am going to try and build this one again!
  21. What inspires me? My models! What else would I need!? And I am going to build them all!
  22. Might be a small collection, but you have more vintage kits than some other ones I have seen! Nice stuff, Mr Stock!
  23. Wow! They still have the Trick Trikes! I wonder why Round 2 has no re-released them
